|Dak, Zeke likely to play limited snaps in Week 17|
Sanchez, McFadden seeing bulk of reps in practice

|Along with Cowboys QB Mark Sanchez receiving most of the reps, expect same with RB Darren McFadden. An inexperienced LT adds to resting starters. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Cowboys have nothing to play for in Week 17, so exposing Dak Prescott or Ezekiel Elliott and probably even Dez Bryant to injury doesn't make a ton of sense. The absence of LT Tyron Smith may also be contributing to their thinking as well. The only minor surprise here may be that Dallas isn't thinking about giving Tony Romo some reps, although it is understandable the team wants him healthy if it plans on trading him this offseason.

"We like the rhythm of our offense and how Dak is playing"

FFToday's Take: Head coach Jason Garrett is indicating the he has no plans to rest his starters in tonight's game against the Lions. The Cowboys have wrapped up the No.1 seed in the NFC but it appears the head coach doesn't want rust to creep into the game of his rookies. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott should be ready to roll in the final game of Week 16.
| Jason Pierre-Paul has sports hernia|
Giants DE will miss 6-8 weeks

|Jason Pierre-Paul will miss the rest of the regular season and possibly the entire postseason, too. The Giants defensive end had surgery to repair a sports hernia on Wednesday morning and his recovery is expected to take at least six weeks, according to a source. (New York Daily News)|
FFToday's Take: The Giants defensive line won't be able to apply the same kind of pressure with JPP out of commission. Dak Prescott gets a huge bump this week with the Giants, as the Cowboys can use more double-teams to stymie Olivier Vernon.
| Jerry Jones now hinting Dak Prescott is starter|
Cowboys owner finally admitting rookie is ahead of Tony Romo

|Jon Machota on Twitter: "Jerry Jones on what they'll do when Romo is healthy: 'You want to be very mindful of what you got going. Chemistry has to be recognized.'"
FFToday's Take: It makes plenty of sense to just come out and say that Dak Prescott is the starter going forward until there's a reason for a change. Tony Romo is still recovering from a serious back injury and Prescott is playing very well in his stead.

Tony Romo still working his way back from back surgery

|Discussed Cowboys starting QB on our Thursday Night Football pregame show: Pencil Dak Prescott in for another start: 11/6 vs. Browns. Decision time after that. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: This suggests Jerry Jones & Co. may use the next two games to see if the rookie can hold up to the pressure of playing for the starting job in the same way he has managed it during Tony Romo's absence. If Prescott impresses once again versus the Eagles this weekend, he should be a near-lock to keep the job in a favorable matchup versus Cleveland in Week 9. Continue to treat the rookie as a low-end QB1 until further notice.
| Romo throws in practice|
Inching closer to returning from back injury
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Oct 26, 1:41 pm
|FRISCO, Texas (AP) -- Tony Romo is participating in throwing drills at practice for the first time since the Dallas quarterback broke a bone in his back in a preseason game at Seattle in August.
The 36-year-old worked in several individual drills Wednesday in shorts and a T-shirt with his teammates in full pads. While he almost certainly won't play against Philadelphia on Sunday, it's the biggest step in his return.
FFToday's Take: As expected, Dak Prescott's job is safe for Week 8 as Tony Romo is not even healthy to practice in pads. Romo is expected to be cleared in the next few weeks and Dallas intends to reinsert him into the lineup despite Prescott's success. Like Prescott, match ups will likely dictate Romo's fantasy value from week to week.
