Injury Alvin Kamara: "I'm gonna play"
Saints RB suffered a concussion in Week 14
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Dec 13, 4:40 pm

New Orleans
Saints’ RB Alvin Kamara, who left Thursday night’s game vs Atlanta with a concussion, told reporters today: “Im good to go. I’m gonna play.” (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Kamara left last Thursday's game against the Falcons with a concussion in the first quarter but was able to practice Wednesday. It sounds like he'll be back in his normal role as a high efficient fantasy RB. The Saints face the Jets in Week 15.

Injury Alvin Kamara expects to return for Week 15
Suffered concussion in Week 14
By: Doug Orth | Mon Dec 11, 6:10 pm

New Orleans
Saints RB Alvin Kamara (concussion) said he expects to be good to go for next Sunday. (New Orleans Times-Picayune)

FFToday's Take: The decision to return is obviously not only his to make, but this is one situation in which owners are lucky he played on Thursday, as it gives him a few more days to clear the league's protocol. Expect him to be limited in practice this week and listed as questionable on the injury report, but it is reasonable to expect him to return to fantasy RB1 status in Week 15 against the Jets.

Injury Mark Ingram active for Week 14
Expected to handle "normal workload"
By: Doug Orth | Thu Dec 7, 8:05 pm

New Orleans
For fantasy owners tonight, I’m told Saints running back Mark Ingram (toe) will have a normal workload per sources. New Orleans dynamic duo rolls on in Atlanta. (ESPN - Dianna Russini)

FFToday's Take: It turns out the Saints were managing Ingram's reps on a short week. The Saints boast arguably the best running game in the NFL at the moment, so Ingram could see in upwards of 20 touches if New Orleans controls the action. Although Alvin Kamara more upside at the moment, perhaps no running back has become a better bet to score a touchdown each week than Ingram. Start him if you have him.

Adrian Peterson traded to Cardinals
Sources say deal gives conditional pick to Saints
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Oct 10, 12:07 pm

Arizona Cardinals
Dianna Russini (@dianaESPN) on Twitter: "Trade! The New Orleans Saints have traded Adrian Peterson to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional pick per sources" (Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Saints RB coach was just talking up Peterson during the bye week, but okay -- this makes sense, doesn't it? Peterson was never a fit in New Orleans, and this move opens up touches for both Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara -- perhaps the biggest fantasy winners here. The Cardinals have found an explosive runner who can help the power running game. Peterson is worth adding in all formats if he's available, though is upside will be limited by a poor offensive line.

Injury Adrian Peterson misses practice Thursday
Tweaked knee in practice Wednesday
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Sep 28, 9:45 am

New Orleans
New Orleans Saints running back Adrian Peterson suffered a tweaked knee during Wednesday's practice, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Rapoport points out Peterson's absence from Thursday's practice could be a combination of the tweaked knee and a veteran rest day. (Times Picyanue)

FFToday's Take: There's no official word on his status for the London game in Week 4, but this doesn't sound like a serious injury. Peterson remains third on the depth chart from a fantasy perspective behind Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.
