2018 Outlook
Depth Chart
Wilkins is becoming a trendy sleeper among fantasy analysts projecting the Colts running back workload. But while his size would indicate his ability to handle a heavy volume, his college production doesn't give the same rosy outlook. Wilkins never had a 200-carry season and he maxed out at 13 carries per game. He did have excellent career efficiency (6.3 YPC), but there's a real question about whether he can handle 200 carries in the NFL. Let him pass by at the end of your draft unless you're in need of a lottery ticket at the position. He'll likely be on the waivers after a few weeks.

News From The Past 90 Days
Injury Jack Doyle, Marlon Mack out for Week 3
Eric Ebron becomes viable TE1
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 21, 1:04 pm

Indianapolis Colts
The following are OUT for Sunday. DT/DE Denico Autry T Anthony Castonzo TE Jack Doyle RB Marlon Mack DT Hassan Ridgeway CB Quincy Wilson (Jim Irsay on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Straight from the owners mouth. The loss of Doyle vaults Eric Ebron into a viable TE1 option against the Eagles. Ebron has played a fraction of the snaps of Dolye through two weeks, but Ebron should be on the field more the majority of snaps in Week 3. The Colts running game gets narrowed to Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines but it's difficult to trust either back as anything more than a flex option.

Injury T.Y., Mack, Doyle miss practice Thursday
Colts starters dealing with injuries
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Sep 20, 3:00 pm

Indianapolis Colts
Friday's the big day, but it's not a good thing that so many front-liners didn't go again today. Among them: Anthony Castonzo, T.Y. Hilton, Marlon Mack, Jack Doyle, Denico Autry (Mike Chappell on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Hilton is dealing with a quad injury, Mack is nursing his hamstring injury along with a foot issue while Doyle has missed the last two days with a hip injury. If any of the players miss on Friday it will open their door for namely for Eric Ebron and Jordan Wilkins to see an increase in opportunities on Sunday against the Eagles.

Injury Marlon Mack listed as questionable
Limted practice on Thursday and Friday
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 7, 2:00 pm

Indianapolis Colts
Starting left tackle Anthony Castonzo and top running back Marlon Mack, each of whom have been battling hamstring injuries since at least early-August, are both listed as questionable for Sunday's game. (Colts.com)

FFToday's Take: Mack has been battling a hamstring injury since August 9th but did get in limited practices on Thursday and Friday. He'll be hard to trust as a fantasy option against the Bengals even if he's cleared to play. Jordan Wilkins and Christine Michael could handle the bulk of running back touches if Mack sits.

Injury No practice for Marlon Mack on Wednesday
Hamstring injury
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 5, 10:51 am

Indianapolis Colts
Reich: Marlon Mack won't practice today. Again, not good news (Mike Chappell on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Mack has been dealing with a hamstring injury since August 9th and at this point it seems unlikely that he will play against the Bengals in Week 1. Jordan Wilkins, Christine Michael and Nyheim Hines should be active. This is a backfield to avoid for fantasy owners.

Marlon Mack not a lock to be ready Week 1
Hamstring injury
By: Doug Orth | Thu Aug 23, 4:50 pm

Indianapolis Colts
Per HC Frank Reich, Marlon Mack (hamstring) is not a "slam dunk" to be ready for the start of the regular season. Next week critical. Needs to practice next week. (Mike Chappell on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Colts' preseason plan to rotate running backs this season may still happen, but the names of the players may not be who everyone thought they were going to be. Mack hasn't practiced for two weeks, Nyheim Hines has four fumbles through two preseason games and Jordan Wilkins can't seem to buy first-team reps in exhibition play despite generally looking better than Christine Michael. Mack still should emerge as the lead back, but he's looking more like a low-end flex at this point.
