Isiah Pacheco

1) Isiah Pacheco vs. Denver (Thu)

Pacheco has produced three consecutive double-digit games after starting the season slowly. He’s scored in three straight games as well. Meanwhile, the Broncos are allowing a league-worst 41.9 FPts/G to opposing running backs. Considering the Broncos are a -60 in point differential, the fourth quarter could see the Chiefs almost exclusively working on the ground game.

2) Raheem Mostert vs. Carolina

Everything says monster day for Mostert. The Panthers rank 31st in fantasy points allowing 30.5 FPts/G and Mostert figures to be the workhorse with rookie Devon Achane sidelined by injury. Jeff Wilson may or may not return from IR (ribs), but that would hardly make a dent in what should be a big fantasy total for Mostert.

3) Alexander Mattison @ Chicago

Mattison ranks just 22nd in fantasy points per contest, but I like that he can also produce in the passing game. It comes in handy here as the Bears have given up the most yards and touchdowns through the air to opposing backs. Mattison has scored twice on passes this season. The Bears rank 30th overall and Mattison figures to be the primary beneficiary.

1) Brian Robinson Jr. @ Atlanta

The Atlanta Falcons are the stingiest defense when it comes to opposing backs. They have allowed zero touchdowns on the ground or through the air to running backs. Meanwhile, Robinson Jr. gets much of his production by getting into the end zone. He’s scored four times this season. It’s hard to produce big numbers without scoring.

2) Rachaad White vs. Detroit

White has only produced one good game this season… against a weak Bears run defense. The Lions defense is better. Much better. They have allowed just 248 rushing yards over the first five game. That is less than 50 yards a game on the ground. They have allowed zero receiving touchdowns to backs and just 113 yards or 22.6 yards receiving. I’m looking elsewhere.

3) Breece Hall vs Philadelphia

Sure, Hall is coming off a great game (22-177-1), but the Eagles first goal in every game is to stop the run and force teams to be one dimensional. With their DL, that happens pretty often, plus, their pass defense hasn’t been as good as in the past, so teams prefer to attack them through the air. Hall may get enough volume to keep his floor value reasonable, but a repeat of last week against the Broncos is very unlikely.
