The Colts lead the league in scoring which means if you want
to stay in the game you better score a lot yourself. For Tennessee,
that's going to mean Cam Ward throwing to his receivers. With
Tyler Lockett released, that leaves Elic Ayomanor, Van Jefferson
and Chimere Dike as the options. Ayomanor has seen the most targets
(39), has the most receiving yards (225) and the most touchdown
receptions (2) in the wide receiver room, so I'm going to place
my faith there.
Sutton never gets the respect he deserves, but he's always
been a favorite of mine and has a huge opportunity against a Dallas
pass defense which has allowed the second-most fantasy points
to opposing receivers (39.8). Sutton has four double-digit games
in the last five weeks and should make it five here against the
team which has allowed the most touchdown passes to opposing receivers
(12).
The Eagles pass defense has proven to be vulnerable in 2025,
unlike last season. They are allowing 33.8 FPts/G and with Malik
Nabers sidelined, Robinson is the No.1 guy in the receiver's
room. Two weeks ago, on a Thursday night, he produced a 6-84-1
game for 20.4 fantasy points. He's seen at least seven targets
in each of the last three games and has at least five receptions
in each.
Sure, he returned last week to rave reviews (5-110-1), but this
week he likely gets to play across from Patrick Surtain II. The
Broncos also lead the league in sacks (34) and fewest fantasy
points allowed to opposing receivers (23.7). That's not many points
when you consider George Pickens (19.0 FPts/G) will get his fair
share of targets, as will the league's leading tight end, Jake
Ferguson (17.2 FPts/G). The last time Lamb and Surtain met was
in 2021 and Lamb managed just two catches for 23 yards on nine
targets.
Waddle was on a bit of a roll until last weekend when the Dolphins
offense failed to do much against the Browns. Well, the Falcons
pass defense is better and they rank No.2 against opposing wideouts
allowing just 25.4 fantasy points. With the questionable play
at quarterback, it's hard to recommend putting Waddle in
your lineup.
The Panthers are quietly building a solid defense, in particular
its pass defense. They rank third in fantasy points allowed (25.6).
Meanwhile, Coleman was great in Week 1 (25.2 fantasy points),
but has averaged just 6.9 FPts/G in the five games since then.
