The BAWM - Week 12
11/22/02

Now I am sure over the past week I must have lost a ton of readers. However, I won't take it personally, they just weren't good or lucky enough to get into a position of at least making a run at the playoffs. But who am I to point that out, since this is the first time I will enjoy the post season in the past few years. For those who are in, sit back and relax and don't bother worrying about your game, just hope for no injuries. For those still grasping, play the match ups and pray for the best.

Remember; always play your studs, unless of course injury is a concern. Good luck this week!

Best

QB Tom Brady vs. Minnesota
Minnesota has trouble stopping weak offenses, imagine what will happen when they face this team.

QB Jeff Blake vs. Tennessee
He has been surprisingly good in relief and he faces a less than threatening defense.

RB Priest Holmes vs. Seattle
Facing a banged up defense is one thing, but when the team is already horrible against the run, it makes for a big day for the best this season.

RB Travis Henry vs. New York Jets
Granted things have changed over the past 12 weeks, but just look at week 1's stats.

WR Koren Robinson vs. Kansas City
Although the defense seems to have clamped down in the past few weeks, Robinson should have a big day against an awful secondary.

WR Marty Booker vs. Detroit
The pass defense is improving slightly, yet Booker is big and should find room.

TE Todd Heap vs. Tennessee
He is battling injury, but this defense is perfect medicine for him.

TE Randy McMichael vs. San Diego
After slowing down, for a few weeks he picked up some nice yardage last week and should continue against a now suspect Charger pass defense.

Average

QB Aaron Brooks vs. Cleveland
With Deuce likely out for this week, he should be going to the air and often.

QB Chad Pennington vs. Buffalo
Vinny was able to rip apart this team in week 1 and Chad should follow in his footsteps..

RB James Stewart vs. Chicago
He put up 172 yards rushing and two scores in their first meeting, but will face more pressure with Hakim out.

RB Tiki Barber vs. Houston
The team is hurting at WR and the run defense hasn't been impressive. Expect production on the ground in from the air.

WR Plaxico Burress vs. Cincinnati
Hopefully Kordell and the coaches have agreed that this guy should get the ball more, Maddox did.

WR Chris Chambers vs. San Diego
In my top five of disappointments this year, may snap out against a secondary that has been beatable.

TE Itula Mili vs. Kansas City
He should be a part of any passing attack against this team.

TE Jeremy Shockey vs. Houston
Besides Toomer, he will be the go to guy in the passing game. He needs to have similar results that he had in their exhibition game against the Texans.

Worst

QB Jeff Garcia vs. Philadelphia
They may have lost McNabb, but they still have a top defense.

QB Brett Favre vs. Tampa Bay
He is still one of the top QBs, yet no one has really solved this defense.

RB Edgerrin James vs. Denver
He showed he was back last week, but Denver should provide a tougher challenge.

RB Ahman Green vs. Tampa Bay
Green will be running against the strength of this defense and they are strong everywhere.

WR Isaac Bruce vs. Washington
He seems to be the number one option since Warner's injury, but Warner is back and the Skins have been good against the pass.

WR Rod Smith vs. Indianapolis
Since the Colts are better against the pass than the run and Griese is out, expect more of a ground attack this week.

TE Bubba Franks vs. Tampa Bay
I tried not to leave anyone from this team out.

TE Billy Miller vs. New York Giants
Has played well, but will be pressed against this tough pass defense.
