The BAWM - Week 2
9/13/02

Here we are, getting ready for week 2 and the Best, Average, and Worst Match-ups for the week. Last week was exciting and unpredictable, which may be a sign of a really fun season. Its nice to have a week under the belt in order to help any predications made. Hopefully, I can put up a better showing than last week.

Remember; always play your studs, unless of course injury is a concern. Good luck this week!

Best

QB Jay Fiedler vs. Indianapolis
The addition of Ricky Williams make take this average Quarterback and turn him into something else. These games are always barn-burners.

QB Jim Miller vs. Atlanta
He is no Favre, but may put up similar numbers with a wide receiver like Booker.

RB LaDainian Tomlinson vs. Houston
This match-up could lead to the performance of the week for a running back.

RB Travis Henry vs. Minnesota
Will show that last week was far from a fluke.

WR Darrell Jackson vs. Arizona
Look for him to take advantage of the Cardinal's secondary as the Redskins did last week.

WR Muhsin Muhammad vs. Detroit
He may be banged up, but this should be one of his most productive weeks since he is facing a weak Lion defense.

TE Bubba Franks vs. New Orleans
The lack of a star in the receiving corps makes Franks a nice target for Favre.

TE Randy McMichael vs. Indianapolis
This rookie will be looked upon a lot this year and this week should be no different.

Average

QB Drew Brees vs. Houston
Was impressive in his debut and has to be excited about going against the upstart Texans.

QB Quincy Carter vs. Tennessee
The loss of Kearse may provide just enough to get Carter going this week.

RB Fred Taylor vs. Kansas City
While most of Cleveland's yardage came in the air; Taylor stands to due some damage on the ground. Just stay healthy!

RB Antowain Smith vs. N. Y. Jets
After Henry tore apart this defense; Smith should be wide-eyed especially after facing a tough Steeler's D.

WR Chris Chambers vs. Indianapolis
Barely looked at last week; won't take much to improve his numbers.

WR Torry Holt vs. N.Y. Giants
Owens was virtually a non-factor last week, but he didn't have an Isaac Bruce as the other wide out.

TE Jerramy Stevens vs. Arizona
Was the quietest among the rookie tight-ends last week, but finds himself with a good match-up this week.

TE Michael Ricks vs. Carolina
Was one of the few bright spots of the Lions last week and is facing the lowly Panthers now.

Worst

QB Donovan McNabb vs. Washington
Was limited to 32 yards in the second half last week. The home opener for the Skins may provide some more trouble.

QB Kordell Stewart vs. Oakland
You never know which Kordell will show up. Either way, the Raiders will be a formidable opponent.

RB Tyrone Wheatley vs. Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh's D has always shown to be tough against the run and Wheatley doesn't get into the passing game, that's Garner's role.

RB Jamal Lewis vs. Tampa Bay
Good to see him back last week, except these aren't the Panthers.

WR Rod Gardner vs. Philadelphia
Love this guys game, but he is going against one the most talented set of defensive backs in the league.

WR Willie Jackson vs. Chicago
Fresh off of being named a starter, he will find himself in a tough situation against the Bears.

TE Jeremy Shockey vs. St. Louis
With Tiki banged up, the Rams will focus on the passing game, which plans to use Shockey as the focal point.

TE David Sloan vs. Green Bay
Was nearly invisible in the offense last week, and Green Bay's defense will probably shut him down again.
