| Bills add WR Curtis Samuel to the mix $15 million guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2024, 5:50 pm

Former Commanders WR Curtis Samuel is signing a three-year, $24 million deal worth up to $30 million, including $15 million guaranteed, with the Buffalo Bills, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Bills dipped into the second-tier wide receiver pool to find their replacement for Gabriel Davis who moved on to Jacksonville. Samuel spent four seasons in Carolina and three in Washington, mostly working from the slot but capable of lining up anywhere in the formation. He's late-round wide receiver option that will be in the flex conversation most weeks given the quality of the Bills' offense.

| ATL sends Desmond Ridder to ARI for Rondale Moore Atlanta gets another weapon for Kirk Cousins By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2024, 1:36 pm

Breaking news from NFL Media: Cardinals are trading WR Rondale Moore to the Falcons for QB Desmond Ridder.
Arizona has its backup to Kyler Murray and says goodbye to a receiver who was likely going to be its fourth or fifth man on the WR depth chart. (Bob McManaman on X)
FFToday's Take: The Falcons are overhauling their offense and now have Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Moore as their top wide receivers to go along with TE Kyle Pitts. Moore doesn't carry a lot of fantasy juice given he's likely fourth at best in the offensive gameplan but could have some spiked weeks in the right situation.

| Calvin Ridley finds a home in Tennessee $50M fully guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 13 2024, 5:10 pm

Sources: The #Titans are signing #Jaguars star WR Calvin Ridley, completing their FA with a splash. A stunner!! The 29-year old Ridley gets a 4-year, $92M deal with $50M fully guaranteed on a contract negotiated by @DavidMulugheta and Reza Hesam of @AthletesFirst. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Two main suitors for Ridley were reported to be New England and Jacksonville. Apparently, the Titans had other ideas. Tennessee's new OC Nick Holz was with Ridley in Jacksonville last season and may of had some say in the negotiations. Ridley disappeared at times last season but did manage over 1000 yards and 8 TDs finishing as the WR27 in PPR leagues. He joins DeAndre Hopkins and Tony Pollard in the new look Titans offense that will have Will Levis at quarterback - if the Titans don't select a QB at pick No.7.

| Chargers release WR Mike Williams Coming off September ACL injury By: Mike Krueger | Mar 13 2024, 2:05 pm

Sources: The #Chargers are releasing WR Mike Williams, making him a free agent. Williams, on the books for a $32M cap hit, becomes a top FA WR available. The Chargers would like to bring him back, but Mike Williams will test the market. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The Chargers needed to make this move (saves $20M in cap space) in order to get under the cap. Williams is coming off a September ACL injury and has topped 1000 yards just twice in his seven-year career. At age 29, he will likely have a decent market as one of the lone big-bodied receivers available.

| Trade: Steelers ship WR Diontae Johnson to Panthers Carolina gets CB Donte Jackson, teams swap late-round picks By: Mike Krueger | Mar 12 2024, 7:14 pm

Trade! The #Steelers are sending WR Diontae Johnson to the #Panthers for CB Donte Jackson and a pick swap, per sources. Full trade: The #Panthers get Diontae Johnson and pick No. 240. The #Steelers get Donte Jackson and pick 178. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Johnson was entering the final year of his deal with the Steelers. The Panthers are in desperate need of wide receiver help as they try to get some weapons for QB Bryce Young. This move makes Johnson the clear No.1 wide receiver in Carolina but his fantasy value will be shaky as we wait for the Panthers offense to turn around.

| Ravens land RB Derrick Henry, two-year deal $16 million deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 12 2024, 12:41 pm

Free-agent Derrick Henry is signing a two-year, $16 million deal worth up to $20 million, including $9 million fully guaranteed in the first year with the Baltimore Ravens, sources tell ESPN.
The King now will play in the Queen City. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Ravens reportedly tried to trade for Henry last season but now they get him in free agency. This move makes sense from an offensive standpoint given the running philosophy of the Ravens. Henry is 30 years old with a lot of carries (2030) under his belt but he managed to play in all 17 games last season. With Keaton Mitchell working back from a knee injury, Henry should lead the Ravens' running backs in touches as long as he remains healthy.
| Falcons focus on offense, sign WR Darnell Mooney $26 million guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 12 2024, 11:42 am

Falcons are signing former Bears WR Darnell Mooney: 3 years, $39 million, including 26M fully guaranteed. Agents David Mulugheta and AJ Stevens negotiated and confirmed deal. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Falcons have a very thin WR room with only Drake London, Josh Ali and Chris Blair under contract, so signing Mooney does give them a needed veteran presence at the No.2 spot. They still need WR depth but that will likely be addressed in the draft. It's all but assured that Falcons players will be overvalued in drafts this Summer, Mooney included.

| RB Joe Mixon traded to Houston Bengals find a trade partner instead of releasing Mixon By: Mike Krueger | Mar 12 2024, 11:31 am

Joe Mixon is due $5.75 million in 2024 -- including a $3,000,028 roster bonus due Sunday -- in the last year of his contract.
Instead of being cut by the #Bengals, Mixon now lands in a great spot with the #Texans, who just lost leading rusher Devin Singletary to the #Giants. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: The Texans were in need of a running back after Devin Singletary bolted for the Giants. Mixon (27) was reportedly going to be released but instead, the Bengals found a trade partner. Mixon will certainly begin the season as the lead back for an above-average offense putting him easily on the RB2 radar. Dameon Pierce is currently set to be the backup.

| Aaron Jones sticks in NFC North, one-year deal with MIN $7 million By: Mike Krueger | Mar 12 2024, 8:47 am

Aaron Jones is expected to sign with Vikings on a one-year deal for $7 million, per sources. (Dianna Russini on X)
FFToday's Take: It's been reported that Green Bay wanted Jones to take roughly a 50% pay cut as he was set to make roughly $12 million. Jones (29) will now wear purple and likely share running back duties with Ty Chandler. He was battling hamstring injuries most of 2023 but did finish the season with five-straight 100-yard rushing games.
| Bengals move on from Joe Mixon, sign Zack Moss Two-year, $8 million deal for Moss By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 10:04 pm

The #Bengals have agreed to terms with RB Zack Moss on a two-year, $8 million deal, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. The deal includes $4.525 million in the first year for Moss, who cashes in after showing what he could do in Jonathan Taylor’s absence last year. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: Moss played in a workhorse role last season while Jonathan Taylor missed time, and proved to be a valuable contributor. He'll pair with second-year player Chase Brown who has more burst but is best suited for a change-of-pace role. Trayveon Williams and Chris Evans are also on the roster. One player who isn't' on the roster anymore is Joe Mixon, who was released today. Mixon (27) posted 1410 total yards and 12 TDs last season playing in all 17 games for the Bengals.

| Patriots bring in veteran QB Jacoby Brissett One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 8:31 pm

Compensation update: Jacoby Brissett's deal with the #Patriots is one-year, $8 million worth up to $12M with incentives, per sources. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: The Patriots shipped Mac Jones to the Jaguars and now have their bridge quarterback in case they don't like their options at QB in the upcoming draft where they have the No.3 pick or want their rookie to take a back seat and learn in 2024. Brissett (31) has played 8 seasons in the NFL, including last year with the Commanders where he saw action in just two games. He started his career off in New England as a rookie back in 2016.

| Commanders replace Antonio Gibson with Austin Ekeler Likely to share time with Brian Robinson Jr. By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 7:05 pm

It’s a 2-year, $11.43M deal for Austin Ekeler to the #Commanders, sources tell @BleacherReport - as first reported by @AdamSchefter. (Jordan Schultz on X)
FFToday's Take: Earlier in the day, Antonio Gibson agreed with the Patriots on a three-year deal leaving a void in the Washington running back room. Quickly, the Commanders signed Ekeler on a relatively cheap deal. He'll pair nicely with Brian Robinson Jr. but isn't likely to be the fantasy stud we've seen him be with the Chargers. Ekeler's efficiency dipped last season as he was bothered by an ankle injury while scoring just 6 touchdowns.
| Raiders land their starting QB, Gardner Minshew? Two-years, $15 million guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 4:49 pm

Compensation update: The #Raiders are signing QB Gardner Minshew to a two-year, $25 million deal that includes $15M fully guaranteed, per sources.
Strong money for their potential 2024 starting QB. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: That kind of money indicates that the Raiders are likely to give Minshew the starting job Week 1, regardless if they suggest there will be a training camp battle with Aidan O'Connell. This isn't great news for the fantasy outlooks of Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers but it's not the end of the world either. Both were fantasy viable last season despite mediocre quarterback play. Minshew is coming off a 3305-15-9, 34-100-3 season for the Colts where he played in 16 games.

| Giants add Devin Singletary to backfield, three-year deal Daboll coached Singletary in Buffalo By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 4:10 pm

Compensation update: Giants are giving former Texans RB Devin Singletary a 3-year, $16.5 million deal worth up to $19.5 million, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Giants didn't want to pay for a "high-priced" free agent running back so they stuck in the secondary market and landed Singletary who's rushed for 800-plus yards in each of the last three seasons. Brian Daboll is familiar with Singletary from their time in Buffalo. Expect Singletary to be part of a committee rushing approach with the Giants.

| Aaron Jones out in Green Bay, Josh Jacobs in Packers making moves at running back By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 3:11 pm

After reaching agreement today with free-agent RB Josh Jacobs, the Packers informed RB Aaron Jones that he is being released, per source. Jones now will be a free agent. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Jones had a cap hit of $17 million this season which needed to be reduced. With the two sides failing to renegotiate, Jones will be released and can now sign with any team, which probably won't take long. Jacobs (26) will now move into the starting running back role in Green Bay while AJ Dillon is a free agent. Jacobs racked up 270 touches last season but only had 3.5 yards carry.

| Eagles lose Swift, pick up RB Saquon Barkley 3-year deal, $26M guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 2:42 pm

Former Giants RB Saquon Barkley reached agreement with the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year, $37.75 million contract that could be worth up to $46.75M and includes $26M fully guaranteed at signing, per sources.
Barkley now beats the franchise tag number and has a maximum average-per-year salary of $15.833M, which would be second highest for a RB in NFL History. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Eagles lost D'Andre Swift earlier today when his agreed with the Bears on a three-year deal. They pickup Barkley who will be a good fit for the offense but is two years older. We'll have questions about Barkley and his TD scoring ability with Philadelphia given their use of Jalen Hurts around the goaline but this is a solid landing spot. Barkley has scored 10 TDs in each of the last two seasons with the Giants.

| New Falcons QB: Kirk Cousins on a four-year deal Falcons get their upgrade at quarterback By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 2:29 pm

Free agent QB Kirk Cousins is signing with the #Falcons, per
@MikeMcCartney7. A new era in Atlanta. And Minnesota. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Reportedly, the Vikings made a strong push to keep Cousins but the Falcons were determined to upgrade their QB position. Atlanta has some nice looking pieces on offense and are out of the Arthur Smith business so expect Cousins, Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Kyle Pitts to be highly valued fantasy commodities this season. Cousins is 35 and coming of an Achilles injury that limited him to 8 games last season so health and age are a concern.
| Gabe Davis expected to sign with Jaguars 3-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 1:16 pm

Sources: The #Jaguars are signing #Bills WR Gabriel Davis to a 3-year deal. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: This deal likely means that Calvin Ridley won't be back in Jacksonville. Davis has been an inconsistent deep threat in the Bills offense the last few seasons, registering at least 15.7 yards per catch in each of his four years. He'll likely fill this role with the Jaguars as well, making him an inconsistent flex option on a weekly basis.
| Tony Pollard leaves Dallas, headed to Tennessee Three-year, $24 millon deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 12:47 pm

Compensation update: Titans are giving former Cowboys running back a three-year, $24 millon deal, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: This is a similar deal that D'Andre Swift is getting from the Bears. Pollard racked up 307 touches last season as the lead back in Dallas but lacked the efficiency we've seen from him in the past. Tony Pollard will now share the backfield with Tyjae Spears in Tennessee and isn't likely to see the touch count he did in 2023. He's likely to land in the mid-RB2 range in redraft leagues this Summer.
| Bears agree to terms with RB D'Andre Swift $16.5 million over the first two years By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 12:13 pm

The #Bears have agreed to terms with RB D’Andre Swift on a three-year, $24 million deal, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
After a career year with the #Eagles, Swift heads to Chicago to be a big piece in Shane Waldron’s offense. Deal negotiated by his agent Trevon Smith. Swift will get $16.5 million over the first two years of his deal with the #Bears, so that’s an average of $8.25 million over two. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: Swift (25) is coming off his best season as a pro with a 229-1049-5, 39-214-1 line finishing 24th among RBs in PPR leagues. His fantasy stats were muted by the Eagles using the Jalen Hurts tush-push at the goaline. It's and odd move for the Bears who already have Roschon Johnson and Khalil Herbert under contract, but expect Swift the move into the lead-back role in Chicago.

| Tee Higgins wants out of Cincinnati Long-term contract extension doesn't seem close By: Mike Krueger | Mar 11 2024, 10:06 am

Bengals franchise WR Tee Higgins has requested a trade, per sources. Higgins loves Cincinnati and hoped to be with the team long term, but is disappointed that the team has not had any talks about a long-term contract extension since March 2023. He's ready to move on to a new home. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Given Ja'Marr Chase is going to be getting a new deal within the next calendar year, it's unlikely Higgins is going to get a long-term contract with the Bengals. The team placed the franchise tag on him and apparently haven't been close on reaching a deal. The likely outcome is Higgins sticking with Bengals in 2024 then finding a new home for the 2025 season.

| New Steelers QB: Russell Wilson, one-yeal deal Broncos will pay $38 million of his salary in 2024 By: Mike Krueger | Mar 10 2024, 11:35 pm

Nine-time Pro-Bowl QB and former Super-Bowl champ Russell Wilson plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, per league sources. Wilson will sign a team-friendly, one-year deal in which the Broncos will wind up paying $38 million of his salary while Wilson wears the black and yellow. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Given Kenny Pickett is your other choice, it's really a no-brainer for the Steelers to take a shot on Wilson for $1.2 million. With Arthur Smith and his run-heavy game-plan serving as offensive coordinator, it's hard to imagine anything more than middling QB2 value from Russ during 2024.
| Baker Mayfield sticking in Tampa Bay, 3-year deal $50M guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 10 2024, 4:58 pm

Sources: The #Bucs are closing in on a deal with QB Baker Mayfield, helping Tampa Bay become home for their starter. He gets a 3-year deal worth $100M with $50M guaranteed.
The Bucs continue to work on keep their core. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The Bucs have kept Baker and WR Mike Evans ahead of free agency, keeping two key pieces of their offense in tact. Mayfield is coming off the best fantasy season of his career, posting a 4044-28-10 line while playing all 17 games. However, those numbers are mid-level QB2 value in a league with plenty of rushing quarterbacks.
| Trade: Patriots ship QB Mac Jones to Jacksonville Expected to backup Trevor Lawrence By: Mike Krueger | Mar 10 2024, 11:07 am

Trade: Patriots are finalizing a deal to send QB Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars, sources tell ESPN. The trade cannot be processed until the new league year begins Wednesday and he passes a physical. The two sides were discussing a 6th-round pick, per sources.
Jones was born in Jacksonville; now he has the chance to go home. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Jags are adding depth to their QB room as Mac Jones will backup Trevor Lawrence. Schefter also noted the two sides are working on a 6th-round pick as compensation. Jones has been mediocre during his three seasons with the Patriots with his rookie being his best statistical output (3801 yds, 22 TDs, 13 INTs). He's off the fantasy radar for now.

| Trade: Broncos send Jerry Jeudy to Cleveland Denver gets 2024 5th and 6th round picks By: Mike Krueger | Mar 9 2024, 12:32 pm

Trade: Broncos and Browns agreed to a deal today that will send WR Jerry Jeudy to Cleveland in exchange for two draft picks, sources tell ESPN.
Cleveland made a run at Jeudy at last season’s trade deadline. Now the Browns finally will get him once trade is processed this week. The two picks are 2024 5th- and 6th-round picks, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Jeudy was been rumored to be on the trading block last season but nothing materialized. Denver will clear almost $13 million in cash and cap savings on this transaction. The Browns will now have Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and Jeudy as their top three receivers to go along with TE David Njoku. This move paves the way for Marvin Mims to see increased playing time for the Broncos in 2024.

| Hunter Henry staying with the Patriots, three-year deal Weak free agent market for tight ends By: Mike Krueger | Mar 8 2024, 10:56 am

The #Patriots and TE Hunter Henry have agreed to terms on a 3-year deal worth $27M base worth a max value of $30M, per me and @MikeGarafolo. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The top two tight ends in the free agent market (Dalton Schultz) have now re-signed with their teams, leaving that position bare. Henry finished as the TE15 last season, playing 13 games and finishing with a 42-419-6 line. The team is looking to reset their offense with a new coach and quarterback heading into 2024. He's likely to be a TD-dependent TE2 next season.

| Jonnu Smith finds a home in Miami, two-year deal Former Falcon now a Dolphin By: Mike Krueger | Mar 7 2024, 1:33 pm

Former Falcons tight end Jonnu Smith and the Miami Dolphins reached agreement on a two-year deal with the do worth up to $10 million, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Smith was released last week by the Falcons and quickly found a landing spot with the Dolphins. Miami's offense hasn't featured the tight end in recent years as targets have flowed at a high rate towards Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and the running backs. Smith gives them a decent receiving option at the position but he will likely be capped at TE2 value.

| Colts use franchise tag on WR Michael Pittman Jr. First time Colts have used the franchise tag in 11 years By: Mike Krueger | Mar 5 2024, 3:40 pm

As refresher, Colts using non-exclusive franchise tag allows Pittman to negotiate with other teams and sign offer sheet with one. Colts can match, or receive 2 1st-round draft picks as compensation. Franchise tag often serves as bridge to long-term deal before mid-July. (Mike Chappell on X)
FFToday's Take: The two sides have been trying to work out a long-term deal but haven't been able to reach an agreement. Expect to see Michael Pittman Jr. in a Colts uniform this upcoming season and perhaps a long-term deal can be reached before the mid-July deadline.
| New 3-year deal for TE Dalton Schultz, Houston $23.5M guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 5 2024, 1:09 pm

Sources: The #Texans have agreed to terms on a deal to keep TE Dalton Schultz in Houston. He gets a 3-year, $36M new contract with $23.5M fully guaranteed at signing. Schultz is a key weapon for C.J. Stroud. The deal was done by TE guru and agent @SteveCaric of @Wass_Football. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Schultz's first year in Houston with Stroud resulted in a 55-635-5 line in 15 games played, finishing as the TE11 in PPR leagues. He'll have low-end TE1, high-end TE2 value in redraft leagues this Summer.

| Broncos set to release QB Russell Wilson on March 13th Denver avoids $37M payment in 2025 By: Mike Krueger | Mar 4 2024, 4:19 pm

Sources: The #Broncos are moving on from QB Russell Wilson, closing a tough chapter for the team and allowing coach Sean Payton and Wilson to start fresh.
Wilson is available for a team needing a starter. Denver avoids an extra $37M fully guaranteed now. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The Broncos will be on the hook for Wilson's $39 million minus whatever salary he gets from a new team but they avoid paying him $37 million for 2025. The cap hit ($85M) will also be available to be split over two seasons if they designate him a post June 1st cut. Denver will be one of many teams looking to upgrade the QB position but will have to settle for 2nd tier rookies unless they move up from the No.12 spot in the draft.
| Mike Evans sticking in Tampa Bay 2-year, $35M guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 4 2024, 9:10 am

Still a Buc: Mike Evans and the #Buccaneers have agreed to terms on a two-year deal to avoid free agency and keep him in Tampa, per his agents @DerykGilmore and Darren Jones.
From the seventh pick in 2014 to potentially the Hall of Fame, Evans might do it all in a Bucs uniform. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: Evan's two-year deal includes $35 million guaranteed. He was the top wide receiver on the free agent market which includes the likes of Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman Jr. and Calvin Ridley. Evans is coming of his best fantasy season since 2018, posting a 79-1255-13 line. The Bucs will now focus on getting Baker Mayfield re-signed as well.
| Vikings set to release RB Alexander Mattison Was guaranteed $2.75 million on March 15th By: Mike Krueger | Feb 29 2024, 7:24 pm

Vikings informed RB Alexander Mattison today that they are releasing him, per source. Mattison took over last season for Dalvin Cook and ran for 700 yards and caught 30 passes. Now he becomes a free agent again, like last year when he signed a two-year deal with Minnesota. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Mattison was guaranteed $2.75 million on March 15th. He spent five seasons in Minnesota and while he had his best fantasy output last year, he failed to keep the starting gig, eventually losing the job to Ty Chandler. Mattison is probably best suited as a change-of-pace back and should land somewhere in that role in 2024.

| Falcons release TE Jonnu Smith Move will save $6.5 million in cap space By: Mike Krueger | Feb 27 2024, 2:56 pm

Falcons are releasing veteran tight end Jonnu Smith, per source.
Smith caught 50 passes for 532 yards and three touchdowns last season. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: This save will save $6.5 million in cap space but results in $2.5 million in dead money (which is relatively minor in today's NFL). Both Smith and Kyle Pitts finished inside the top 20 fantasy tight ends (PPR) in 2023 with Smith edging Pitts in fantasy points per game by a small margin (8.4 to 8.1). Smith will catch on somewhere in free agency but isn't likely to have a big fantasy impact in 2024.

| Increased opportunities for Rashod Bateman in 2024 HC John Harbaugh expects a leap for Bateman By: Mike Krueger | Feb 27 2024, 11:48 am

Ravens coach John Harbaugh is expecting a big season out of former first-round pick Rashod Bateman.
"I think Rashod Bateman's going to take a big step," he said. "I think Rashad's going to get opportunities this year. He ran routes really well. He worked super hard." (Jamison Hensley on X)
FFToday's Take: This is the second time this off-season Harbaugh has mentioned more work for Bateman in 2024. With Odell Beckham Jr. a free agent, Bateman could easily assume a portion of his snaps assuming the veteran isn't resigned. Bateman's ceiling however seems to be capped given the running nature of the offense and receiving options Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews not going anywhere.

| No RBs expected to the get the franchise tag Deep free agent RB class in 2024 By: Mike Krueger | Feb 26 2024, 2:53 pm

This offseason stands in contrast to 2023, when Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley, Tony Pollard received franchise tags. This offseason, it appears no RBs will be tagged, making this one of the finest and deepest RB classes in the history of free agency. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The 2024 free agent RB class is stacked with Jacobs, Barkley, Pollard, Derrick Henry and Austin Ekeler. The question is, what kind of deals are these veterans going to get? We've seen the market slowly dry up for veteran RBs over the last few years with Jacobs and Barkley settling for one-year deals just last season. Alvin Kamara and Aaron Jones are also cut candidates given the money their going to count against the salary cap this season.

| Bengals plan to put franchise tag on Tee Higgins Tag for WR is $21.8M By: Mike Krueger | Feb 23 2024, 10:04 pm

Source: The #Bengals informed star WR Tee Higgins that they are franchising him. The franchise tag number is expected to be around $21.8M, fully guaranteed, for the #Bengals and Tee Higgins. The first tagged player of this window. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Higgins is one of the more notable WR free agents in 2024 along with Mike Evans. The two sides failed to reach a long-term deal last off-season. Higgins has until mid-July to sign and is coming off his worst season as a pro (12 games, 42-656-5). It's likely 2024 will be the last year for Higgins in Cincinnati.
| WR Demarcus Robinson sticking with the Rams One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Feb 23 2024, 5:40 pm

The #Rams and WR Demarcus Robinson have agreed to terms on a 1-year deal worth $5M, per @KatzBrosSports. He stays in LA after a productive season last year. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Robinson (29) became a factor in the Rams offense late in the 2023 season and eventually became the team's No.3 receiver. He only played in eight games, finishing with a 26-371-4 line but should start next season in the same role giving him some late-round appeal in redraft leagues.
| Ravens sign WR Nelson Agholor, one-year deal Finished 5th in targets for the Ravens in 2023 By: Mike Krueger | Feb 18 2024, 4:56 pm

Ravens signed WR Nelson Agholor to a one-year contract extension. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Ravens receiving room didn't have much value outside of Zay Flowers last season. Agholor finished the year with a 35-381-4 line and wasn't much of a fantasy factor. At best he'll be fourth in the pecking order for targets next season behind Flowers, TE Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman.

| Two-game suspension for QB Jimmy Garoppolo Raiders expected to release veteran QB By: Mike Krueger | Feb 16 2024, 12:01 pm

Jimmy Garoppolo will not appeal his two-game suspension, and he now will miss the first two games of the 2024 season wherever he is playing, but it no longer is expected to be in Las Vegas with the Raiders, per sources. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Garoppolo is expected to be released before his $11.25 million roster bonus kicks in early in March. Aidan O'Connell took over the starting QB job as Jimmy G. was largely ineffective during the first few weeks of the season. QB desperate teams will give Garoppolo a look and it wouldn't be surprising if he lands a starting gig in 2024.

| Steelers part ways with QB Mitchell Trubisky Two years left on his deal By: Mike Krueger | Feb 12 2024, 4:51 pm

The #Steelers and QB Mitchell Trubisky have decided to mutually part ways, sources say. The sides spoke to assess the situation and Trubisky, 29, gets a fresh start just over a month ahead of the start of the league year and free agency. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: Trubisky appeared in five games this season and never cracked 200 yards passing or threw for more than 1 TD. He had two years left on his deal but no guaranteed money, making him an easy release. The Steelers have Kenny Pickett on the roster for now, but expected a veteran (Ryan Tannehill?) to be signed with Arthur Smith in town as the new OC.
