Antonio Callaway cited for marijuana possession
Already in stage 1 of the NFL's subtance abuse program
By: Mike Krueger | Aug 7 2018, 4:15 pm

Browns rookie receiver Antonio Callaway was promoted to the team’s starting offense on Monday. The day before, Callaway was stopped in his vehicle for a traffic violation at 2:59 a.m. by Strongsville police and cited for marijuana possession and driving with a suspended license. He was suspended his last season at Florida for involvement in a credit card fraud case. After declaring for the draft, he tested positive for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine in February. FFToday's Take: Callaway's stock was on the rise yesterday after the Coleman trade but may reverse course as it appears some kind of suspension from the NFL may be coming. Callaway stock in the NFL Draft dropped to off-field concerns and it didn't take long for those concerns to become a reality. Callaway continued to run with first team in Tuesday's practice.
