Jerry Jones driving the Tony Pollard hype train
Cowboys owner thinks Pollard can carry the load?
By: Mike Krueger | Aug 11 2019, 9:15 am

Dallas Cowboys
Jerry Jones: "I certainly thought he had a good account of himself. He looks confident out there, we know he's inordinately understanding of what he does and can do. We've seen him do it, we know he's capable of, if he really needs to, carrying whole load." (David Helman on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Cowboys are negotiating with holdout Ezekiel Elliott so it's not surprising Jones would talk up his running backs in the media. Tony Pollard never had a big workload in college so it's easy to dismiss Jones' ramblings as fluff. However, Pollard would have some fantasy appeal if Zeke's holdout extends into the regular season so he's worth consideration in the later rounds of your draft.
