Injury More injury troubles for Derrius Guice
Expected to miss time with knee injury
By: Mike Krueger | Sep 9 2019, 12:36 pm

Washington Redskins
Sources: #Redskins RB Derrius Guice had an MRI this morning on the other, non-ACL knee and he’s likely to miss some time. The hope is he does not need surgery, but the team is doing a full evaluation. He gained 18 yards on 10 carries, looking like he wasn’t himself. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It's unfortunate for Guice who was set to get the bulk of rushing duties for the Redskins after Adrian Peterson was declared inactive in Week 1. Expect Peterson to take over work on early-downs beginning in Week 2 with Chris Thompson sticking in his familiar third-down role.
