Jets sign Joe Flacco, one-year deal
Veteran QB taking backup job
By: Mike Krueger | May 22 2020, 3:47 pm

New York Jets
Jets are signing former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to a one-year deal, sources tell ESPN. Jets GM Joe Douglas was a Ravens’ scout in 2008, when Baltimore drafted Flacco in round one. Now Flacco will rejoin Douglas, and compete for the backup job when he’s healthy and ready. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Flacco joins Jameis Winston as another veteran quarterback accepting a backup job in 2020. Cam Newton remains a free agent. Schefter also reported that Flacco is expected to be on a no-contact restriction during training camp and cleared in September from his neck injury. He's off the fantasy radar.
