MRI confirms torn Achilles for Marlon Mack Injury occurs in final year of rookie deal By: Mike Krueger | Sep 14 2020, 11:00 am
Marlon Mack’s worst fear has been confirmed. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) test revealed the Indianapolis Colts’ feature running back suffered a torn right Achilles tendon in Sunday’s opening 27-20 loss at Jacksonville, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Surgery is required, which will end his season and perhaps his career with the team. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take:This was Mack's final year of his rookie contract. Expect Jonathan Taylor to assume the bulk of the rushing duties for the Colts with Nyheim Hines mixed in. Both should excel in PPR leagues as Philip Rivers loves the dump-off pass to running backs.
