Michael Thomas has high-ankle sprain
WR not ready to concede Week 2 yet
By: Doug Orth | Sep 14 2020, 6:25 pm

Saints star WR Michael Thomas suffered a high-ankle injury in Sunday’s win over the #Bucs, but it’s something he believes he can play through, sources tell me and @RapSheet. With an extra day before next Monday’s game vs. #Raiders, nobody ruling Thomas out. (NFL Network - Tom Pelissero)

FFToday's Take: The sad part is the injury happened on a block late in the game already decided. There is some belief this could be a "minor" high-ankle sprain, but it is difficult for even the most elite athletes to play through this injury and remain productive. Fantasy owners would be wise to use this week to prepare for the possibility Thomas may be limited for a few weeks at the very least. Emmanuel Sanders could be a capable fantasy starter should Thomas sit in Week 2 versus the Raiders.
