Ex-#Steelers RB James Conner underwent surgery to repair a very moderate turf toe-type injury this offseason, sources say, a procedure done by renowned specialist Dr. Robert Anderson. The injury incurred while riding in a recreational vehicle. A full recovery is expected in June. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take:Toe injuries can be tricky for athletes but there's nothing to suggest at this point that Conner won't be ready for off-season workouts this Summer. After four seasons in Pittsburgh, Conner is scheduled to visit the Cardinals on Monday. The Cardinals currently have Chase Edmonds and Eno Benjamin at running back.
