Pats trade Sony Michel to Rams
Pats receive 2022 fifth and sixth round picks

The Rams are trading a 2022 fifth and sixth round pick to the Patriots for RB Sony Michel, multiple sources said. Rams get their complementary player to Henderson, who will also alleviate some of the depth/durability concerns at the position. (Jourdan Rodrigue on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Rams have been hit with injuries at running back this preseason with Cam Akers (Achilles) out for the year, Raymond Calais (foot) out indefinitely and Darrel Henderson (sprained thumb). Michel provides insurance for Henderson who's been a bit injury-prone during his short career. This move caps Henderson's upside who should remain the lead back while J.J. Taylor and Rhamondre Stevenson elevate in New England.
