Austin Ekeler misses practice Thursday and Friday

Brandon Staley said Austin Ekeler felt sore after Wednesday's practice, and so they held him out the past two days. He is "hopeful" Ekeler will be able to go Sunday vs. Patriots. (Daniel Popper on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: This isn't the best news but it does give Ekeler (hip) a chance to play. The Chargers play in the late-afternoon window against the Patriots so fantasy owners will need to have a replacement ready. Justin Jackson would be the likeliest to see a fantasy boost if Ekeler were to sit.
