Good chance Javonte Williams won't start camp on PUP Recovering from ACL injury By: Mike Krueger | May 15 2023, 9:52 am
Some positive news from the #broncos this weekend. RB Javonte Williams is doing "extremely well" per Sean Payton with his rehab from last season's knee injury. Payton expects him to be ready for the start of training camp and the team believes there's a good chance he won't be starting camp on PUP. (James Palmer on Twitter)
FFToday's Take:The Broncos RB suffered a torn ACL in early October of last season. His recovery will be closely watched as the team brought in Samaje Perine this off-season to fill the gap until Williams is ready. Even if Williams is ready to play by Week 1, he's likely not going to be in workhorse role making Perine a solid value in early Best Ball leagues.
