Source: #49ers All-Pro WR Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested a trade after an offseason of unsuccessful attempts to reach an extension. Despite a recent meeting, the Niners haven’t been willing to engage in negotiations since May so Aiyuk has respectfully asked out. (Mike Garafolo on X) FFToday's Take: Aiyuk has been seeking a new contract this off-season but the two sides haven't been able to come to an agreement. He's scheduled to receive $14.1 million in 2024. With him being under contract and the cost of WRs continuing to climb, it's unlikely he'll be moved unless the 49ers get blown away with an offer.
