Source: #Texans RB Joe Mixon will be OUT today vs the #Jaguars due to his ankle injury. Mixon tested it this morning, and while he's feeling better, everyone agreed to take the safe route and give him another week. (Jordan Schultz on X) FFToday's Take: Mixon got in a limited session on Friday but needs another week to get healthy. With Dameon Pierce (hamstring) also out, it will be Cam Akers at running back for the Texans against the Jaguars today. Akers got 10 touches in a similar role last week against the Vikings. He's a Flex option in a much better matchup.
