Campbell said Sam LaPorta is day to day with the shoulder injury and he's "hopeful" he can play this week (DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman) FFToday's Take: LaPorta has not come close to repeating his rookie season, although the three best games of his 2024 campaign have come over the last five contests. Volume has been the primary issue this year; he has no more than six targets in any game after averaging 7.8 down the stretch in 2023. While Detroit would likely spread LaPorta's targets among Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Jahmyr Gibbs in Week 11 versus the Jaguars if he is ruled out, Brock Wright could be worth starting in deeper leagues against one of the most accommodating defenses defending the tight end.
