Former #Giants QB Daniel Jones plans to sign with the #Vikings practice squad, after having cleared waivers, per me, @TomPelissero and @CameronWolfe. A new beginning and opportunity for Jones with a chance to the backup. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: Jones heads to Minnesota after asking for and getting a release from the Giants earlier in the week. He will begin on the practice squad then eventually be the backup to Sam Darnold. He won't have any fantasy value this season unless an injury occurs to Darnold and he'll likely be the backup to J.J. McCarthy in 2025 as Darnold is on a one-year deal.
