| Deebo looking to move on from San Francisco 49ers granted Deebo permission to find a trade partner By: Mike Krueger | Feb 9 2025, 11:37 am

| The 49ers have granted Deebo Samuel and his agent Tory Dandy permission to find a trade partner for the wide receiver, Samuel told ESPN. This comes after Samuel asked San Francisco to trade him during the players’ exit meetings after the season.
“It was a hard conversation to have with Kyle (Shanahan) because of the relationship that we have,” Samuel said today. “But I have to do what’s best. I’m more than thankful for the Niners giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, but now I think it’s best that we find another team.” (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Deebo has only topped 1000 yards receiving once in his career but has been involved enough in the rushing game to make him a borderline WR1/2 over the last few years. However, 2024 was a supreme disappointment, ranking 48th in fantasy points per game (half-ppr) with just 51 receptions and 4 TDs. Deebo joins Cooper Kupp as veteran wide receivers on the trade market.
