Two-time Pro Bowl WR DK Metcalf has requested a trade and the #Seahawks have agreed to explore options, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Days before free agency, the 27-year-old Metcalf immediately becomes the top receiver available. (Tom Pelissero on X) FFToday's Take: Metcalf likely wasn't happy with his role last season which saw him slip behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the team's No.1 wideout. He still has one year left on his current deal and reportedly would like re-negotiate a longer deal with whatever team he lands with. With the release of Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks will be revamping key pieces to their wide receiver room in 2025.
