Disciplinary hearing for Rashee Rice scheduled for Sep. 30th
Will be available for first four games
By: Mike Krueger | Aug 14 2025, 10:46 am

ESPN sources: Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is expected to have his disciplinary hearing with the NFL on Tuesday, Sept 30 in New York. This means that Rice now is likely to be able to play the first four weeks of this season before any potential discipline is imposed for his role in a multi-car crash in Dallas during the 2024 offseason. FFToday's Take: This isn't great for fantasy GMs and it seems like the league is orchestrating this so Rice will be available for early-season marquee games against against the Chargers (Brazil), Eagles and Ravens. A four-to-six game suspension is still a likely scenario which would potentially occur in the middle of the season. Rice is currently valued at around WR24 in Half-PPR leagues.
