Jayden Daniels may not be able to play in Week 3
Sprained knee in Thursday night loss to Green Bay

Dan Quinn on Jayden Daniels: "Here's what I know - he did have an MRI and he's already begun his return to play process with us. He is truly day to day. What does that mean for Sunday? I can't tell you that now. I'll share more when we get to Wednesday. But in the return to play, he and all of the guys have to hit all of the markers." (Washington Post - Nicki Jhabvala)

FFToday's Take: While Daniels will have a few days more than normal to recover - the team played on Thursday - NFL Media's Ian Rapoport suggested earlier Monday that the quarterback's status for Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders is "in doubt." Marcus Mariota fared exceedingly well in a similar situation last year (Week 7 against Carolina) but obviously lacks the same upside as Daniels. If Mariota ends up starting, consider him a viable QB2 option in fantasy for Week 3.
