Omarion Hampton unlikely to be ready soon
Ankle injury expected to keep RB out until after Week 12 bye
By: Doug Orth | Nov 3 2025, 8:00 pm

Jim Harbaugh said he doesn’t think the Chargers will open the window for running back Omarion Hampton to return from IR until after the Week 12 bye. (ESPN.com - Kris Rhim)

FFToday's Take: Harbaugh suggested this was a possibility a couple of weeks ago, so this only would seem to confirm the initial plan. Fantasy managers who have been able to remain in their league's playoff chase without him - likely because of adding Kimani Vidal or Rico Dowdle off waivers - should still tentatively plan on getting the rookie back in Week 13 against the Raiders. Hampton was beginning to emerge as a strong RB1 before his Week 5 ankle injury, so he could be an actual league-winner if he is able to find the same form upon his return.
