Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee in the closing minutes of Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Chargers. Mahomes underwent an MRI after the game that confirmed the injury. Mahomes is expected to have surgery in the coming days. (ESPN) FFToday's Take: Mahomes has been relatively healthy during his career but will now miss and extended period of time with an ACL injury. Gardner Minshew will finish the season as the Chiefs starting quarterback with games against TEN, DEN and LV. We'll have a better idea of Mahomes' recovery timeline in the coming days, weeks.
