| Zach Charbonnet done for the year Suffers torn ACL in Divisonal Round win By: Doug Orth | Jan 19 2026, 4:00 pm

| Seahawks RB Zach Charbonnet suffered a season-ending knee injury that will require surgery, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said on Seattle Sports. Macdonald called it “a significant knee injury, unfortunately. Breaks your heart. He’s going to need surgery, so he’s got a good long road to come back.” (ESPN - Adam Schefter)
FFToday's Take: Charbonnet just enjoyed the best regular season of his pro career, setting career highs in rushing yards (730) and touchdowns (12) and appeared on the verge of taking over as the lead back in Seattle with Kenneth Walker set to become an unrestricted free agent. The timing of this injury could change the entire expected narrative of this backfield in 2026, as Charbonnet is unlikely to be anywhere close to full strength in less than eight months. Does Walker re-sign with the team now if he finishes the postseason strong? Only time will tell.
