| Kyler Murray still weeks away from playing Will remain on PUP list By: Mike Krueger | Sep 30 2023, 5:58 pm
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is not expected to come off the physically unable to perform list when he becomes eligible Monday and still is considered weeks away from playing, league sources told ESPN. The rules that govern activation from the PUP list also make it seem logical that it will be late October, at the earliest, before Murray returns to action. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Murray tore his ACL on December 12th of last year, so it's no surprise that he's not ready to practice with the team. Joshua Dobbs will continue to be the Cardinals quarterback for the foreseeable future. He's currently the QB22 an not a weekly starter in 1-QB leagues.

| Aiyuk expected to play, Deebo, Elijah Mitchell Questionable 49ers injury report By: Mike Krueger | Sep 29 2023, 6:28 pm
49ers WR watch:
Will play: Brandon Aiyuk
Maybe will play: Deebo Samuel
Probably won't play: Jauan Jennings
Samuel's ribs aren't the issue. It's the knee injury, which cropped up after the Giants game, that's been problematic. He missed WED & THURS practices, was limited today. (Matt Barrows on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: It seems the 49ers will get Aiyuk back in the mix after missing Week 3 with a shoulder injury. We'll have to wait for confirmation later this weekend on Deebo and running back Elijah Mitchell who injured his knee in practice on Thursday. If he sits, Jordan Mason would elevate into the No.2 role behind Christian McCaffrey.

| Austin Ekeler listed as Doubtful for Week 4 Chargers have a bye in Week 5 By: Mike Krueger | Sep 29 2023, 4:05 pm
#Chargers game status report
OUT: Corey Linsley (illness), JT Woods (illness)
DOUBTFUL: Austin Ekeler (ankle), Derwin James (hamstring), Deane Leonard (hamstring)
QUESTIONABLE: Alohi Gilman (heel), Joey Bosa (hamstring/toe) (Daniel Popper on X)
FFToday's Take: Ekeler has now missed three games with an ankle injury and will have to wait until Week 6 before seeing the field as the Chargers have a bye in Week 5. Joshua Kelley will likely get the start again but it's fair to wonder if we may see more of Isaiah Spiller or Elijah Dotson as Kelley has failed to impress in relief duty.

| Odell Beckham Jr., Rashod Bateman out for Week 4 Ravens with three healthy WRs By: Mike Krueger | Sep 29 2023, 3:36 pm
With Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman ruled out, here are the #Ravens' WRs on 53-man roster:
Zay Flowers
Nelson Agholor
Devin Duvernay
*Agholor will get increased work and Laquon Treadwell could get elevated from practice squad. (Jamison Hensley on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Ravens will be short-handed at receiver this week which may be just fine if they lean on the running game against the Browns. Agholor is likely the biggest beneficiary of the Beckham and Bateman absences. He's likely to play in two-wide receiver sets with Flowers.

| Jameson Williams back with the Lions on Monday Suspension reduced to 4 games By: Mike Krueger | Sep 29 2023, 3:28 pm
As a result of gambling policy changes, Titans’ OT Nick Petit-Frere and Lions’ WR Jameson Williams will be reinstated effective on Monday. They each had served four game suspensions for violations of the league’s gambling policy. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Surprise! The NFL and Players Union updated their agreement on the gambling policy which resulted in Williams' suspension being reduced to 4 games. He'll be eligible to play for the Lions is Week 5. Josh Reynolds has looked good in the No.2 role for the Lions so we'll have to how Williams gets incorporated into an offense that already has plenty of mouths to feed at WR, RB and TE.

| Treylon Burks out for Week 4, knee injury Injured during practice on Wednesday By: Mike Krueger | Sep 29 2023, 1:54 pm
#Titans Mike Vrabel said Treylon Burks will be out vs. Bengals. (Turron Davenport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Burks missed practice Thursday and Friday with a knee injury that he suffered in practice on Wednesday. DeAndre Hopkins who has been battling an ankle injury, will now be called upon take an even bigger load in the passing game. Perhaps we see tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo get more involved in the gameplan. He's totaled just 10 targets through three games.

| Anthony Richardson practices for second straight day On track to play Week 4 By: Mike Krueger | Sep 28 2023, 3:50 pm
For the second straight day, the Colts listed QB Anthony Richardson as a full participant in practice, putting him on track to play Sunday vs. the Rams. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Richardson missed Week 3 with a concussion but it appears will be good to go in Week 4 assuming he makes it through the concussion protocol. The rookie finished as the QB4 back in Week 1.
| David Montgomery expected to play Thursday night Thigh injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 28 2023, 9:26 am
I've been informed by a team source that Decker and David Montgomery will suit up tonight and the NFL Network report from this morning is incorrect. (Justin Rogers on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: There was a report earlier this morning that Montgomery was going to sit, but that's not the case. Jahmyr Gibbs handled 18 touches last week against the Falcons with Montgomery on the sidelines. The two RBs should split work tonight against the Packers. Montgomery out-snapped Gibbs 85 to 51 during the first two games.
| Bryce Young on track to play in Week 4 Missed Week 3 with ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 27 2023, 3:42 pm
Panthers coach Frank Reich said Bryce Young looked good in his return today and is tracking toward starting Sunday vs. Vikings.
"Just have to make sure there’s no major setbacks, no flare-ups. But if he stays on track, then I think things are headed in the right direction." (Joe Person on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The rookie QB missed Week 3 with an ankle injury but it appears he will be out there against Minnesota on Sunday. Young has been shaky in his first two starts totaling just 299 passing yards, 2 TDs and 2 INTs in two games. Even in a decent matchup, it will be difficult to trust Young as anything more than a mid-range QB2.
| Aaron Jones, Christian Watson could return in Week 4 Both players have been sidelined by hamstring injuries By: Doug Orth | Sep 26 2023, 11:55 pm
It sounds like the Packers should have two of their key weapons back on the field for Thursday night’s game against the Lions.
Via multiple reporters, receiver Christian Watson said, “That’s the plan” when asked if he was playing in Week 4. Watson has missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury.
Receiver Romeo Doubs also told reporters that running back Aaron Jones will also return from his hamstring injury this week. (PFT - Michael David Smith)
FFToday's Take: Jones sounds as if he is closer to a return than Watson, if only because the former was looking good in warmups and on the fence to play in Week 3. Watson's return could take the Packers' passing game to the next level, which will be critical against a Detroit defense that has been decent against fantasy receivers. Consider Jones a solid fantasy RB2 against a tougher-than-expected run defense and Watson a high-upside WR3 - one that could be on a snap count - against Detroit.
| David Montgomery likely to play Thursday night Thigh injury sidelined him in Week 3 By: Doug Orth | Sep 26 2023, 11:30 pm
Lions coach Dan Campbell said he's "starting to feel pretty good about" RB David Montgomery (thigh) and LT Taylor Decker (ankle) returning to play Thursday night against the #Packers.
(NFL Network - Tom Pelissero)
FFToday's Take: The Lions made the prudent move in resting Montgomery in Week 3, especially knowing they had a division game coming up on a short week. While the Packers have been a favorable fantasy matchup for running backs through three games, they have been effective in slowing them down in two of them. Nevertheless, Montgomery remains a solid RB2 option if he plays on Thursday. Expect Jahmyr Gibbs to return to his Week 1 and Week 2 workload of about 7-8 carries and five or so receptions.

| Derek Carr injured shoulder in Week 3 Sprained AC joint By: Doug Orth | Sep 25 2023, 6:30 pm
Derek Carr has a sprained AC joint and is week to week
(ESPN.com - Katherine Terrell)
FFToday's Take: HC Dennis Allen could not say for sure if Carr would be ruled out for Week 4 at Monday's presser, but it sounds as if things are trending in that direction. With that said, Carr has proven to be plenty tough over the years, so he could play if the issue is merely pain tolerance. Jameis Winston would get the nod if Carr cannot go.
| Patrick Mahomes dealing with minor ankle injury QB injured midway through Week 3 win vs. Chicago By: Doug Orth | Sep 25 2023, 6:20 pm
Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes, who was limping at one point after getting rolled up Sunday against Chicago, is “all good,” per source. Nothing serious. Kansas City visits the #Jets this week. (NFL Network - Tom Pelissero)
FFToday's Take: Mahomes stayed in the game after the injury, so there is no cause for concern. Look for Kansas City to take it easy on him during practice this week and be his usual QB1 self against the Jets in Week 4.
| Mike Williams out for the year, torn ACL Josh Palmer, Quentin Johnston next up By: Mike Krueger | Sep 25 2023, 12:05 pm
Source: #Chargers WR Mike Williams has torn his ACL and is out for the season, the MRI confirmed. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Chargers offense has already been missing Austin Ekeler the last two weeks due to an ankle injury and will now be without Williams for the rest of the season. In his place, Josh Palmer and rookie Quentin Johnston will battle for targets. Palmer (60%) has seen a higher snap share than Johnston (22.3%) through three weeks.
| Aaron Jones, Christian Watson inactive for Green Bay Hamstring injuries By: Mike Krueger | Sep 24 2023, 11:29 am
Packers’ RB Aaron Jones, WR Christian Watson and OT David Bakhtiari are inactive today vs. the Saints. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Packers will be once again down their best two offensive weapons with hamstring injuries. AJ Dillon has not looked good this season but should see 15 to 18 touches against the Saints. Romeo Doubs and Jayden should be the two receivers for Jordan Love.
| Isiah Pacheco expected to play, Toney a gametime decision Toe injury for Chiefs WR By: Mike Krueger | Sep 24 2023, 7:00 am
#Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (hamstring) is listed as questionable, but he should be good to go, source said. WR Kadarius Toney (toe) is a game-time decision. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Pacheco will be active today for Kansas City but Toney, who got in just one limited practice (Friday) this week will be a gametime call. This is a good matchup for Pacheco against a Bears defense that's given up the 5th most fantasy points to running backs through two games.
| Jaylen Waddle ruled out for Week 3, concussion Chosen Anderson called up from practice squad By: Mike Krueger | Sep 23 2023, 4:18 pm
Dolphins have ruled out WR Jaylen Waddle. He missed most of the week due to being in concussion protocol.
Expect Braxton Berrios and River Cracraft to see big uptick of reps. Chosen could see some too. (Cameron Wolfe on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: How many targets can Tyreek Hill get? Waddle practiced on a limited basis Friday but ultimately wasn't able to clear the concussion protocol. Berrios and Cracraft could see some extra snap share in this game but expect a heavy dose of Hill.
| Joe Burrow listed as Questionable for Monday night Calf injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 23 2023, 12:48 pm
Bengals are listing Joe Burrow as questionable for Monday night’s game versus the Rams due to his calf injury. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Burrow's strange cart ride with team owner Mike Brown yesterday and the signing of QB AJ McCarron today signal that there is some real question around Burrow's availability for Week 3. Hopefully we'll get more clarity before 1 pm Eastern on Sunday. If not, a backup plan of quarterbacks in the Monday night games include Baker Mayfield and Matthew Stafford.
| Zay Jones ruled out with knee injury Jacksonville down a receiver in Week 3 By: Mike Krueger | Sep 22 2023, 4:21 pm
Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee), S Antonio Johnson (hamstring) are out for Sunday. LB Josh Allen (shoulder), DL Foley Fatukasi (shoulder), S Andrew Wingard (shoulder) are questionable. Texans have 4 out: LB Denzel Perryman, S Jalen Pitre, CB Derek Stingley Jr., CB Tavierre Thomas. (Michael DiRocco on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Zay missed practice all week and won't play against Houston. Jacksonville has plenty of weapons at receiver and it's safe to assume the vacated targets will be soaked up by Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk and tight end Evan Engram. All are good plays in Week 3.
| Isiah Pacheco, Kadarius Toney listed as questionable Richie James ruled out By: Mike Krueger | Sep 22 2023, 4:09 pm
Isiah Pacheco, Willie Gay, and Kadarius Toney are questionable for Sunday's game. Nick Bolton and Richie James are out. (Chiefs on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Toney is dealing with a toe injury and got in a limited session Friday but really hasn't been useful as a fantasy asset. As a result, he'll be tough to trust as a Flex option even in a juicy matchup against the Bears. Pacheco (hamstring) has been limited the last two days but seems like he'll be active.
| Justice Hill, Odell Beckham Jr., out for Week 3 Ravens thin at running back By: Mike Krueger | Sep 22 2023, 2:50 pm
Ravens game statuses Sunday vs. Colts.
RB Justice Hill (toe), WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle), LT Ronnie Stanley (knee), C Tyler Linderbaum (ankle), OLB Odafe Oweh (ankle), CB Marlon Humphrey (foot) and S Marcus Williams (pectoral) have all been ruled out. (Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Ravens are thin at running back with Gus Edwards the likely starter. Expect Melvin Gordon and perhaps Kenyan Drake to be called up to the practice squad. Edwards is a viable RB2 against the Colts but isn't a pass-catcher... something that will deflate his value in PPR leagues. Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor will help fill the OBJ void.
| Anthony Richardson out for Week 3, Concussion Gardner Minshew to start By: Mike Krueger | Sep 22 2023, 1:04 pm
Colts’ QB Anthony Richardson officially ruled out for Sunday vs. Baltimore. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: With Richardson out, Gardner Minshew will get the call against the Ravens. Minshew went 19-23 for 171 yards and 1 TD against Houston in relief last week. He'll be a mid-range QB2 streaming option on the road in Baltimore
| Brandon Aiyuk not expected to play Week 3 Shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 21 2023, 4:49 pm
The 49ers also elevated receiver Chris Conley and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles from the practice squad. Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) is not expected to play against the Giants while cornerback Ambry Thomas (knee) is questionable for the game. (Matt Barrows on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: After injuring his shoulder in Week 2, the 49ers have decided to play it safe on a short week and sit one of their better offensive players. With Aiyuk out, Deebo Samuel might see some increased usage but don't be surprised if TE George Kittle and running back Elijah Mitchell get more work in this game.
| Bryce Young not expected to play Week 3 Andy Dalton expected to start By: Mike Krueger | Sep 21 2023, 3:12 pm
Bryce Young did not practice, and isn’t expected to play Sunday. (Carolina Panthers on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Young is dealing with an ankle injury which means we'll get Andy Dalton at quarterback for Carolina against the Seahawks. Young has thrown for 146 and 153 yards in his first two NFL games so we're likely to see some better efficiency from Dalton, which could make veteran Adam Theilen a more comfortable Flex option. Miles Sanders (pectoral) was limited on Thursday.
| Cam Akers on the move to Minnesota Vikings and Rams swap late-round picks in 2026 By: Mike Krueger | Sep 20 2023, 6:30 pm
Trade! The #Rams are sending RB Cam Akers to the #Vikings, per sources. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell and OC Wes Phillips were with Cam Akers in L.A., so he should be up to speed quickly and help Minnesota’s backfield. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Akers time with the Rams has finally come to an end. The sides had their differences last season and just two weeks into the 2023 season, the veteran running back is on the move. Alexander Mattison and Vikings have struggled to their running game going in the first two games so perhaps Akers can provide a spark. How much he cuts into Mattison's role remains to be seen.
| Brandon Aiyuk a gametime decision Shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 20 2023, 4:28 pm
Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk’s status for the 49ers’ game Thursday night remains in question.
And the answer likely is to be delivered 90 minutes before kickoff.
The 49ers listed Aiyuk as questionable on their injury report due to a left shoulder injury he sustained Sunday in the 49ers’ 30-23 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. (NBCSportsBayArea.com)
FFToday's Take: Aiyuk was limited on Tuesday with a shoulder injury and it sounds like he's a true gametime decision. The fact that the 49ers play Thursday night against the Giants doesn't bode well for his chances of being active. Saquon Barkley for the Giants has already been was ruled out.
| Justice Hill dealing with toe injury, may sit Week 3 Kenyan Drake added to the practice squad By: Mike Krueger | Sep 20 2023, 3:30 pm
#Ravens RB Justice Hill suffered a toe injury that could keep him out of the Week 3 matchup with the #Colts but shouldn’t result in a lengthy absence, per source.
Baltimore signed vet Kenyan Drake as insurance. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The running back injuries across the league are piling up after two weeks. The Ravens have already lost J.K. Dobbins and will now likely turn to Gus Edwards as their main RB against Colts. Edwards has no pass-catching value, making him more of a RB2 in non-PPR leagues.
| Browns bring in Kareem Hunt, one-year deal Depth piece with Nick Chubb out for the year By: Mike Krueger | Sep 20 2023, 10:46 am
Reunion: The #Browns and veteran RB Kareem Hunt have agreed to terms on a one-year deal, per source.
Hunt scored 23 TDs over the past four seasons in Cleveland. Now he’s back - and figures to have a lot of opportunities after Nick Chubb’s season-ending injury. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: HC Kevin Stefanski already stated that Jerome Ford will be the team's lead back so Hunt will likely slide into the No.2 RB role now that Nick Chubb (knee) is out for the year. Hunt wasn't effective last season (3.8 ypc) but does give the Browns some depth at the position. Ford is projecting like an RB2 moving forward.
| Jamaal Williams likely out for a bit Suffered hamstring injury in Week 2 By: Doug Orth | Sep 19 2023, 11:50 pm
Saints’ RB Jamaal Williams is expected to need “some time” to recover from his hamstring injury, per HC Dennis Allen. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)
FFToday's Take: New Orleans may be down to Tony Jones Jr. and rookie Kendre Miller for Week 3 against the Packers. Week 4 cannot come soon enough for the Saints, who will get Alvin Kamara back that week for a NFC South showdown with the Bucs. It is possible - albeit unlikely - that Williams may not have much of a role upon his return if Miller shows out against Green Bay. Expect Williams to take a back seat to Kamara but remain in the RB3 conversation once he is healthy again.
| Nick Chubb done for the year HC Kevin Stefanski: "Significant" knee injury By: Doug Orth | Sep 19 2023, 12:20 am
Coach Kevin Stefanski confirms that Nick Chubb is done for the season with a significant knee injury. Awful. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take: The injury was gruesome enough that the telecast did not want to replay it. There is a distinct possibility Chubb is in the hospital as we speak to make sure all he did was suffer multiple torn ligaments; it was that bad. Without question, this is an injury that could have a significant impact on his ability to play - and certainly, play up to his standard - again. Jerome Ford showed well after his departure and stands to be a highly sought-after waiver-wire addition over the next few days. While it is likely the team will add someone over the next day or two, this figures to be Ford's show until further notice.

| Joe Burrow in danger of missing Week 3? Reportedly tweaked preseason calf injury By: Doug Orth | Sep 18 2023, 7:20 pm
Bengals coach Zac Taylor on Joe Burrow's availability for Monday Night Football against the Rams: Hard to say. (ESPN.com - Ben Baby)
FFToday's Take: There has been some speculation that Burrow could go on IR, but it seems doubtful the 0-2 Bengals would go in that direction unless the injury was very serious. What is more likely is that Cincinnati will sit him in Week 3 against the Rams and reassess. Jake Browning would get the start if that ends up being the case. The fantasy values of everyone in this offense - specifically Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins - hang in the balance.
| Amari Cooper to give it a go on Monday night Listed as questionable after late-week groin tweak By: Doug Orth | Sep 18 2023, 7:10 pm
Source: #Browns WR Amari Cooper, who tweaked his groin this weekend in practice and was listed as questionable, will be active tonight vs. the #Steelers. A big lift. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take: There seems to be no hint of how serious of a tweak Cooper suffered, but it is safe to assume he will be far less than 100 percent and could even end up being a decoy. Elijah Moore and David Njoku figure to be more active as a result, while Nick Chubb could be heavily featured against a Pittsburgh defense that got gashed by Christian McCaffrey in Week 1. Moore should be a strong WR3 option at worst, while Njoku should have TE1 upside. Chubb, of course, should be started everywhere.
| Austin Ekeler out indefinitely? Missed Week 2 with ankle injury suffered in opener By: Doug Orth | Sep 18 2023, 7:00 pm
"No timeline" on Austin Ekeler's return from his ankle injury, Brandon Staley said. (The Athletic - Daniel Popper)
FFToday's Take: Uh-oh. This now has the feel of a high-ankle sprain, although no one can seem to confirm it. Joshua Kelley was mostly ineffective against the stout Titans' run defense in his first real shot at being the featured back in Week 2 and predictably fared poorly. Kelley should fare better against a weak Vikings defense in Week 3, although fantasy managers in deeper leagues should try to find a spot on their roster for preseason sensation Elijah Dotson, who could eventually take over some part of the Ekeler role in this offense if the 28-year-old back misses much more time.
| Saquon Barkley week-to-week with sprained ankle Out 3 weeks? By: Mike Krueger | Sep 18 2023, 4:38 pm
An MRI showed that Giants’ RB Saquon Barkley suffered an “ordinary” ankle sprain that now is expected to sideline him three weeks, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: There was no chance of Barkley playing Thursday night against the 49ers on a short week. Perhaps he'll be ready to go Week 6 against the Dolphins. In the meantime, Matt Breida will pickup some fantasy value but he's likely to be a Flex option at best. The Giants don't have a bye until Week 13.
| Diontae Johnson lands on IR, hamstring injury Will miss the next four games By: Mike Krueger | Sep 18 2023, 4:18 pm
The #Steelers placed WR Diontae Johnson on IR. He's out at least four games. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This seemed like the logical outcome as Johnson's injury seemed severe enough that he wasn't going to play anytime soon. The Steelers will head into their Monday night clash with the Browns with George Pickens, Allen Robinson and Calvin Austin as their top three wideouts.
| Cam Akers on the trading block? Rams RB Inactive in Week 2 By: Mike Krueger | Sep 18 2023, 10:17 am
The #Rams have had trade talks centered around RB Cam Akers. The starter in Week 1 was inactive for Week 2 after a difficult week of practice. Kyren Williams is now the starter, and Akers’ spot is up in the air. Sean McVay: "I think there is going to be an opportunity to see what that looks like moving forward, but it’s not going to be a back-and-forth thing." (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This is very vague but it's obvious there is an issue going on between Akers and the team. Whether of not it results and trade or Akers returning to the active list remains to be seen. Kyren Williams was the lead back for the Rams in Week 2 and got the bulk of the work, with Ronnie Rivers filling in as a backup. Williams represents an mid-range RB2 as long as he keeps this role.
| DeAndre Hopkins expected to play Week 2 Ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 17 2023, 7:10 am
Titans’ WR DeAndre Hopkins, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an ankle injury, is expected to play vs. the Chargers, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Hopkins missed practice all week so it's somewhat surprising that he's going to give it a go. He went down with an ankle injury very late in last week's game against the Saints. He'll be a shaky WR2 in a game with the Chargers that has some overall fantasy appeal
| Mark Andrews expected to play Week 2 Practiced in full on Friday By: Mike Krueger | Sep 17 2023, 7:00 am
#Ravens TE Mark Andrews, listed as questionable because of a quad injury, is expected to play on Sunday, source said. He was a full participant on Friday. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Ravens tight end missed Week 1 but is expected to play this week against the Bengals. Against Cincinnati last season, he posted an 8-89-1 line back in Week 5 and a 5-73-0 in the AFC Wildcard game. He'll be in the TE1 conversation this week.
| Brandin Cooks not expected to play Week 2 Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 16 2023, 11:50 pm
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks, listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, is not expected to play, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday night.
Cooks, 29, suffered a slight sprain of the medial collateral ligament in one knee in a 40-0 victory over the New York Giants in Week 1 (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Cooks missed practice this week so this was the likely outcome. In his absence, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup will be the top two targets on the outside against the Jets with Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin also in the mix. Gallup has sneaky upside as a low-owned option in DFS.
| Aaron Jones, Christian Watson not expected to play Key Packers expected to sit Week 2 By: Mike Krueger | Sep 16 2023, 11:45 pm
The Green Bay Packers will likely be without two of their top offensive players when they take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson, both listed as questionable for the game, are expected to be sidelined with hamstring injuries, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Watson was the only one of the duo to get in a limited session on Friday. Green Bay will be short-handed in their matchup against the Falcons. Expect AJ Dillon to handle the bulk of the running back work. He's a viable RB2 based on volume. Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed should be the top two targets at wide receiver for Jordan Love but both are nothing more than Flex options.
