| DeAndre Hopkins out multiple weeks with knee injury Strained knee suffered in camp By: Mike Krueger | Aug 1 2024, 4:57 pm
DeAndre Hopkins suffered a strained knee injury Wednesday or Thursday and indications are he could miss four to six weeks. If he returns to action after four weeks he'd have a full week to prepare for the season-opener in Chicago. Six weeks out would mean he'd miss the Bears' game and could be ready just before the Week Two home opener against the Jets. Though a precautious six weeks out could mean two games missed. (paulkuharsky.com)
FFToday's Take: Those drafting early should brace for a two-game absence from Hopkins as he recovers from this knee issue. Tennessee is expected to open up it's passing game this season but maybe without it's top receiver to start the season. Calvin Ridley, Tyler Boyd and Treylon Burks figure to be the top three receivers should Hopkins miss any games.

| Justin Herbert will spend two weeks in a walking boot Injury to the plantar fascia in his right foot By: Mike Krueger | Aug 1 2024, 3:00 pm
Following yesterday’s practice, Justin Herbert was diagnosed with an injury to the plantar fascia in his right foot.
Doctors have recommended approximately two weeks in a boot - followed by a graduated return to play protocol - with the expectation that he will be ready for the start of the regular season. (Chargers on X)
FFToday's Take: This isn't great, especially when you're trying to get acclimated to a new offense and coaching staff. Herbert has already had his fantasy expectations lowered as the Chargers figure to be a run-heavy team under Jim Harbaugh. This injury won't help his cause for being anything more than mid-range QB2. More practice reps for Easton Stick incoming.

| RB D'Onta Foreman suffers head injury in practice Taken to hospital but expected to rejoin the team soon By: Mike Krueger | Aug 1 2024, 12:45 pm
Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman was expected to be released from a hospital Thursday after sustaining a neck injury during a kickoff drill in practice. The team said X-rays and other imaging tests were negative and the 28-year-old will return to the team. (WSLS.com)
FFToday's Take: A scary situation for the Browns as Foreman took a hit to the head but it appears a serious injury was avoided as he's expected to return to the team soon. Foreman was added to the roster this off-season as insurance for Nick Chubb is working his way back from a knee injury suffered last September. Foreman doesn't have much fantasy value unless Chubb begins the season on the PUP list.

| Rashaad Penny lands on reserve/retired list Carolina still solid at RB position By: Mike Krueger | Jul 30 2024, 9:37 am
The #Panthers have placed running back Rashaad Penny on the reserve/retired list. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Carolina has rookie Jonathon Brooks (ACL recovery), Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders all competing for running back touches leaving Penny the odd man out. Penny barely saw the field last year in Philadelphia (12 touches, 38 yds) and after six years in the league, it appears his career is over.

| Lions lose K Michael Badgley for the season Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Jul 26 2024, 8:26 am
Injury update: Lions kicker Mike Badgley tore his hamstring Thursday in practice, per source. He will go on injured reserve and miss the season. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Lions will now be in the market for a free agent kicker but also have Jake Bates who will handle kicking duties for the time being. Bates played in the UFL this spring and went 17 for 22 on field goals.

| CeeDee Lamb not expected to report to camp Cowboys start camp on Wednesday By: Mike Krueger | Jul 23 2024, 8:39 pm
Sources: Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb, who has been unable to land the type of contract extension that other wide receivers have, is not expected to report to training camp Wednesday with the rest of his team. Lamb is entering the last year of a deal scheduled to pay him $17.99 million this season. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Top wide receivers around the league are getting paid and Lamb wants his. It sounds like the two sides have been talking since Justin Jefferson signed his 4-year, $110 million guaranteed deal back in early June. This deal for Lamb is likely to get done, but who knows how long it will take.

| Odell Beckham Jr. begins camp on PUP list Did not participate in minicamp By: Mike Krueger | Jul 23 2024, 3:30 pm
The #Dolphins are placing WR Odell Beckham Jr. on the active/physically unable to perform list to start training camp, per source.
My understanding is Beckham, 31, is working through minor things and this is part of the plan for easing him back into football. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Beckham was seemingly battling nagging issues most of last season on his way to a 35-565-3 line, playing in 14 games and finishing as the WR62 in PPR leagues. At this point in his career, he's a late-round dart throw that will only have real fantasy value if Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle get injured.
| WR Ricky Pearsall dealing with hamstring injury 49ers WR will start camp on PUP By: Mike Krueger | Jul 23 2024, 2:03 pm
49ers first-round pick Ricky Pearsall injured his hamstring and will open training camp on PUP. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: It's never good for rookies to miss time during minicamp or training camp as they need all the reps they can get in order build chemistry with their quarterback and learn the offense. Pearsall is on on the fringes of fantasy relevancy in redraft leagues as long as Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk remain healthy and on the team.

| Jacoby Brissett heads into camp as starting QB Drake Maye By: Mike Krueger | Jul 23 2024, 10:04 am
Patriots HC Jerod Mayo on the team’s QB competition: “Coming out of spring, I think it’s clear Jacoby Brissett is the most pro-ready guy we have.” (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: At this point it seem like rookie QB Drake Maye will have to do something special in training camp to overtake Brissett and be the starter in Week 1. Regardless of who is starting, the Patriots offense is lacking in talent making both QBs low-end QB2s whenever they're on the field.

| Jordan Love won't practice until new deal is complete “I feel we’re close.” By: Mike Krueger | Jul 22 2024, 10:23 am
Jordan Love will not practice until he has a new deal, Brian Gutekunst says. Love’s camp informed Packers of that decision Saturday.
Gutekunst says a deal could get done in the coming days, but you never know. Says big deals take time.
“I feel we’re close.” (Matt Schneidman on X)
FFToday's Take: Love will be in team meetings but won't work on the field while the two sides finalize a contract extension. This situation should resolve itself shortly and doesn't feel like a long-term holdout. Love's fantasy value holds steady.

| Mike Williams placed on PUP list Can be activated anytime By: Mike Krueger | Jul 18 2024, 5:23 pm
The Jets placed three players on the PUP list (can be activated any time): WR Mike Williams, FB Nick Bawden, DT Leonard Taylor.
Placed on the non-football injury list: QB Jordan Travis and WR Tyler Harrell. #Jets (Rich Cimini on X)
FFToday's Take: Williams is recovering from an ACL injury suffered August 24th last season so this move was expected. It's important that he gets some practice time over the next six weeks as he learns the Jets' offense with Aaron Rodgers at the helm. The more time he misses during camp, the more his fantasy outlook is weakened.

| Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested a trade Veterans report to 49ers camp next week By: Mike Krueger | Jul 16 2024, 1:01 pm
Source: #49ers All-Pro WR Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested a trade after an offseason of unsuccessful attempts to reach an extension.
Despite a recent meeting, the Niners haven’t been willing to engage in negotiations since May so Aiyuk has respectfully asked out. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: Aiyuk has been seeking a new contract this off-season but the two sides haven't been able to come to an agreement. He's scheduled to receive $14.1 million in 2024. With him being under contract and the cost of WRs continuing to climb, it's unlikely he'll be moved unless the 49ers get blown away with an offer.

| WR Jordan Addison arrested, suspicion of DUI Asleep at the wheel near LAX By: Mike Krueger | Jul 14 2024, 8:05 pm
The #Vikings said they are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest on Friday, and are currently gathering more information on the incident. Addison was reportedly arrested on suspicion of DUI near LAX. (Ben Goessling on X)
FFToday's Take: Addison was apparently asleep at the wheel near LAX on Friday evening. You may recall, that Addison received a ticket for going 140 mph in a 55 mph zone last July. He was not suspended for last season's issue. Adding to the bad optics, the Vikings just lost rookie defensive back Khyree Jackson to a drunk driver a week ago.

| Dak Prescott dealing with sprained foot Photo captures Cowboys QB in walking boot By: Mike Krueger | Jul 4 2024, 2:09 pm
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been wearing a protective boot on his right foot because of a foot sprain, a person with knowledge of his health told The Dallas Morning News.
The person said the injury isn’t serious and Prescott has worn the boot for a week. The injury became known when a picture was taken of Prescott walking with his girlfriend while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas. (Dallas Morning News)
FFToday's Take: Dallas will begin training camp on July 25th so we'll see in a few weeks if he's limited on the field. It's doubtful this injury is going to affect his status for Week 1 but we should get further info in the coming days.

| Patriots extend Rhamondre Stevenson through 2028 $17M fully guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Jun 20 2024, 3:16 pm
Patriots and RB Rhamondre Stevenson reached agreement on a four-year extension for $36 million, including $17M fully guaranteed, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Stevenson can now call New England home for the next four years. The Patriots are lacking a high-end passing attack meaning we should see a lot of Rhamondre and Antonio Gibson during the 2024 season. Stevenson saw 194 touches last season in 12 games which puts him in solid RB2 status in most formats.

| Tee Higgins signs franchise tag, expected to be at camp Missed entire offseason program By: Mike Krueger | Jun 15 2024, 11:52 am
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is officially in the fold for the upcoming season.
Higgins will sign his franchise tag on Saturday, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. By signing the tag, the fifth-year receiver is now expected to be at training camp. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Higgins has been sitting on the sidelines this off-season but should be at camp in late July now that he's signed his franchise tag. Assuming he plays this season on the tag, he'll earn $21.8 million. While a long-term deal is still an option, it's likely the two sides will part ways after the 2024 season.

| TE Juwan Johnson will undergo foot surgery Back in time for Week 1? By: Mike Krueger | Jun 13 2024, 9:31 am
Saints TE Juwan Johnson is scheduled to undergo foot surgery next week that will sideline him “a while”, per source. The hope and belief for now is that he will be back for the start of the season. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: We don't have the specifics of the injury yet, but it sounds like Johnson will miss most if not all of training camp. Not ideal, but not a total death blow to his fantasy value. Taysom Hill is the tight end target from this team moving forward.
| Giants TE Darren Waller calls it a career Age 31 By: Mike Krueger | Jun 9 2024, 4:25 pm
The Giants have been informed that TE Darren Waller is retiring, per sources. This is was what they had been planning to be the end result.
Team statement: “We have great respect for Darren as a person and player. We wish him nothing but the best.” (Jordan Raanan on X)
FFToday's Take: Waller would've earned $10 million this season but instead will call it a career. This leaves the Giants with Daniel Bellinger as their starting tight end along with Lawrence Cager and rookie Theo Johnson at the position. Waller was a key component of their offense last season which is likely be focused on rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers moving forward.

| Chiefs bring back Mecole Hardman, one-year deal Split time between the Jets and Chiefs last season By: Mike Krueger | Jun 6 2024, 9:41 am
Veteran WR Mecole Hardman is re-signing with the #Chiefs on a one-year deal, per source.
A hero in Super Bowl LVIII after a brief stint with the #Jets, Hardman is back in Kansas City. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Hardman returns to a crowded wide receiver room that includes Rashee Rice (suspension?), Marquise Brown, Xavier Worthy, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore. He's familiar with the Chiefs system but won't have much fantasy value unless injuries occur ahead of him on the depth chart. He could also be an option as a kick returner.

| Vikings lock up Justin Jefferson on four-year extension $110 million guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Jun 3 2024, 9:19 am
A record deal: the Vikings and three-time Pro-Bowl WR Justin Jefferson reached agreement on a four-year, $140 million contract extension that includes $110 million guaranteed and makes him not only the highest-paid WR in NFL history, but the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.
Jefferson’s deal includes $88.743 million due at signing, the highest non-QB guarantee at signing in NFL history. And it resets the WR market.
WME Football negotiated and confirmed the deal. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: According to Schefter, multiple teams inquired about trading for Jefferson this off-season but the Vikings turned them away. Jefferson was the WR7, WR5 and WR1 from 2020 through 2022 and posted a 68-1074-5 line in just 10 games last season. Multiple wide receivers are in the market for new deals including CeeDee Lamb, Ja'Marr Chase, Brandon Aiyuk, Amari Cooper and Tee Higgins.

| Keaton Mitchell return expected in-season Won't be ready for training camp By: Mike Krueger | May 22 2024, 2:42 pm
Ravens HC John Harbaugh said RB Keaton Mitchell, is “on schedule” in his recovery from the torn ACL he suffered in Week 15, but he will not be back for training camp, and he is not expected back until “sometime during the season. It’s not like right around the corner.”
FFToday's Take: A mid-season return is going to make Mitchell difficult to select in re-draft leagues unless you have IR spots. Expect Justice Hill to see the change-of-pace carries behind Derrick Henry until Mitchell is ready for action.

| Giants sign veteran WR Allen Robinson Spent last season with the Steelers By: Mike Krueger | May 9 2024, 8:26 am
The #Giants have signed veteran WR Allen Robinson. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: The last time Robinson was fantasy relevant was back in 2020 when he finished with a 102-1250-6 line for Chicago. Since then, he's yet to top 410 receiving yards in a season. He spent last season with the Steelers and failed to score a TD. With the Giants, he'll be battling for the fifth receiver slot with Isaiah Hodgins.

| Miami agrees with WR Odell Beckham Jr., one-year deal $3M guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | May 3 2024, 11:31 am
Confirmed via source, the Dolphins have agreed to terms with WR Odell Beckham Jr.
It's a 1-year, $3M deal with incentives that can push it up to $8.25M (Marcel Louis-Jacques on X)
FFToday's Take: Beckham played in 14 games last season and finished with a 35-565-3 line with the Ravens finishing 67th in PPR points per game among wide receivers. He's not likely to be fantasy relevant in Miami unless injuries occur to Tyreek Hill and/or Jaylen Waddle.

| Ezekiel Elliott back with the Cowboys There's volume to be had in the Dallas backfield By: Mike Krueger | Apr 29 2024, 6:30 am
Reunion: Three-time Pro Bowl RB Ezekiel Elliott agreed to terms with the #Cowboys pending physical, sources tell me and
@RapSheet.
With Tony Pollard gone and Elliott coming off a strong finish to his lone season in New England, it’s time to Feed Zeke again in Dallas. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Elliott spent 2023 with the New England Patriots where he finished with a 184-642-3, 51-313-2 line and ranked 36th among RBs in PPR leagues; by far the lowest output of his career. The Cowboys only have Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn and Royce Freeman as competition, meaning Zeke could earn meaningful volume in 2024.

| Tank Dell suffers minor wound in shooting incident Released from hospital By: Mike Krueger | Apr 28 2024, 4:34 pm
Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was shot in Sanford, Florida, shortly after midnight Sunday morning according to the Texans. Dell was a bystander during a shooting at a private event in Sanford where a teenage gunman wounded 10 people after an altercation. A Texans spokesperson said Dell isn't seriously injured and was released from the hospital and is traveling back to Houston today.
In a statement, the team said Dell has a "minor wound." (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: It appears none of the 10 victims have life-threatening injuries including Dell who is currently re-habbing after breaking is led on the football field last December. It doesn't appear this latest incident is serious but we should get further details in the coming days.

| Jets trade QB Zach Wilson to Broncos Jets and Broncos do late-round pick swap By: Mike Krueger | Apr 22 2024, 2:27 pm
A new QB in Denver: The #Jets are trading former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson to the #Broncos, per sources.
Denver is expect to send a 2024 sixth-round pick to New York for Wilson and a 2024 seventh-rounder, with the teams dividing his guaranteed camp roster bonus. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Wilson has yet to find his footing after three uninspiring years with the Jets. He'll get a change of scenery in Denver where Sean Payton is holding a casting call for quarterbacks. Jarrett Stidham is currently on the roster and the expectation is that Denver will select a QB in the upcoming draft. Wilson's fantasy value is still minimal for now.

| Chargers add J.K. Dobbins to running back room One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Apr 17 2024, 7:26 pm
Former Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins plans to sign a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, per his agency LAA Sports. He now will reunite with his former Ravens OC Greg Roman in Los Angeles. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Chargers have cornered the market on Ravens' running backs with Dobbins and Gus Edwards joining Jim Harbaugh's squad as free agents this off-season. Dobbins tore his Achilles back in September and also has torn his ACL and LCL in his injury history. He'll be facing an uphill battle to regain fantasy relevance in 2024.
| Cowboys add to their RB room, Royce Freeman One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Apr 16 2024, 8:22 pm
The Cowboys are signing free agent RB Royce Freeman to a one-year deal. The 28-year-old was a third round pick in 2018. He played for the Rams last season, rushing for 319 yards and 2 TDs on 77 carries. (Jon Machota)
FFToday's Take: Dallas will likely be selecting a running back at some point during the upcoming NFL Draft with only Freeman, Rico Dowdle and Deuce Vaughn under contract. Freeman was with the Rams last season and finished with a 77-319-2, 1-13-0 line, well off the fantasy radar.

| Eagles and WR DeVonta Smith agree on contract extension Through the 2028 season By: Mike Krueger | Apr 15 2024, 10:39 am
Eagles announced a three-year contract extension for WR DeVonta Smith that tied him to Philadelphia through the 2028 season. The extension includes $51 million guaranteed, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Eagles are getting out in front of WR market with new contracts expected to be signed by Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, JaMarr Chase, Brandon Aiyuk and others. Smith finished 19th among WRs in PPR leagues last season and 14th in 2022. He'll be on the WR2 radar again in 2024.

| Trade: Bills moving WR Stefon Diggs to Texans Bills receive 2025 second-round pick By: Mike Krueger | Apr 3 2024, 11:00 am
Blockbuster: Bills are finalizing a trade to send four-time Pro-Bowl WR Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for draft-pick compensation, sources tell ESPN. Compensation updates, per sources: Bills receive 2025 second-round pick via Minnesota. Texans receive Stefon Diggs and a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: There have been rumors swirling around Diggs (30) and his happiness in Buffalo before last season so this deal isn't a huge shock but does leave the Bills very thin at wide receiver. Expect them to address the position in the upcoming draft (they have pick 28). Houston is stocking their team around young QB C.J. Stroud who've also added RB Joe Mixon, DE Danielle Hunter and DT Denico Autry (to name a few) this offseason.

| Chiefs re-sign RB Clyde Edwards Helaire, one-year deal J.K Dobbins in for a visit By: Mike Krueger | Apr 2 2024, 4:18 pm
Can confirm Clyde Edwards-Helaire has agreed to a 1-year deal to re-sign with the Chiefs, per sources.
As for J.K. Dobbins, I'm told his visit today was productive for both parties, perhaps a partnership that could happen later this offseason. (Nate Taylor on X)
FFToday's Take: The Chiefs only had one running back under contract (Isiah Pacheco) so it's no surprise that CEH is returning. Depending on how the draft shakes out, Dobbins could be signed also as a depth piece.
| Mike Williams signs one-year deal with Jets WR coming off ACL injury By: Mike Krueger | Mar 19 2024, 4:55 pm
Mike Williams is signing a one-year deal worth up to $15 million with the Jets, per source. Williams was scheduled to next visit the Panthers and Steelers. But he is not getting out of New York. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Williams tore his ACL back in September of 2023 so he should be able to play this upcoming season barring a setback. His presence will give the Jets a much-needed second receiving option opposite Garrett Wilson. Williams' best season was in 2021 when he posted a 76-1146-9 line finishing as the WR17 in PPR leagues.

| Bears ship QB Justin Fields to Steelers for 2025 draft pick 2025 6th-round pick that goes to a 4th-round pick based on playtime By: Mike Krueger | Mar 16 2024, 6:41 pm
Bears are trading Justin Fields for a 2025 6th-round pick that goes to a 4th-round pick based on playtime, per sources. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Alrighty then. The market for Fields obviously wasn't that strong given the compensation returning to the Bears. This move all but guarantees that Chicago will draft Caleb Williams or another quarterback with the first pick in the upcoming draft. Fields will join Russell Wilson as fresh faces in Pittsburgh as the Steeler overhaul the quarterback position. Will there be a QB competition?
| WR Marquise Brown headed to Kansas City One-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2024, 10:35 pm
A new weapon for Patrick Mahomes: Former Ravens and Cardinals WR Marquise Brown is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, per sources.
During is final season in Baltimore in 2021, Brown had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns. During 26 games over two seasons in Arizona, Brown had 118 catches for 1,283 yards and seven TDs. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The one-year deal "Hollywood" will allow him to make the most of his time in Kansas City and perhaps get a multi-year deal for 2025 and beyond. The Chiefs are in need of WR help after being plagued by drops and poor choices like Skyy Moore and Kadarius Toney. He'll crack the starting lineup opposite Rashee Rice and give the Chiefs a valid deep threat also capable of making plays in the intermediate sections of the field.

| Trade: Chargers send Keenan Allen to the Bears Chicago gets 4th Round pick By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2024, 10:16 pm
Scoopage... Bears have traded for WR Keenan Allen sending Chargers a fourth rounder. @NFLonFOX (Jay Glazer on X)
FFToday's Take: Whoa. The Bears are setting up Caleb Williams with a veteran presence on offense including Allen, D.J. Moore, D'Andre Swift, TE Cole Kmet and TE Gerald Everett. The Chargers reportedly asked Allen to take a pay cut and he wasn't having it. Justin Herbert's fantasy stock is taking a nosedive as the Chargers rebuild the offense around. The good news is, they have the 5th pick in the NFL draft and have their choice of receivers not name Marvin Harrison Jr.
| Bills add WR Curtis Samuel to the mix $15 million guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2024, 5:50 pm
Former Commanders WR Curtis Samuel is signing a three-year, $24 million deal worth up to $30 million, including $15 million guaranteed, with the Buffalo Bills, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Bills dipped into the second-tier wide receiver pool to find their replacement for Gabriel Davis who moved on to Jacksonville. Samuel spent four seasons in Carolina and three in Washington, mostly working from the slot but capable of lining up anywhere in the formation. He's late-round wide receiver option that will be in the flex conversation most weeks given the quality of the Bills' offense.

| ATL sends Desmond Ridder to ARI for Rondale Moore Atlanta gets another weapon for Kirk Cousins By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2024, 1:36 pm
Breaking news from NFL Media: Cardinals are trading WR Rondale Moore to the Falcons for QB Desmond Ridder.
Arizona has its backup to Kyler Murray and says goodbye to a receiver who was likely going to be its fourth or fifth man on the WR depth chart. (Bob McManaman on X)
FFToday's Take: The Falcons are overhauling their offense and now have Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Moore as their top wide receivers to go along with TE Kyle Pitts. Moore doesn't carry a lot of fantasy juice given he's likely fourth at best in the offensive gameplan but could have some spiked weeks in the right situation.

| Calvin Ridley finds a home in Tennessee $50M fully guaranteed By: Mike Krueger | Mar 13 2024, 5:10 pm
Sources: The #Titans are signing #Jaguars star WR Calvin Ridley, completing their FA with a splash. A stunner!! The 29-year old Ridley gets a 4-year, $92M deal with $50M fully guaranteed on a contract negotiated by @DavidMulugheta and Reza Hesam of @AthletesFirst. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Two main suitors for Ridley were reported to be New England and Jacksonville. Apparently, the Titans had other ideas. Tennessee's new OC Nick Holz was with Ridley in Jacksonville last season and may of had some say in the negotiations. Ridley disappeared at times last season but did manage over 1000 yards and 8 TDs finishing as the WR27 in PPR leagues. He joins DeAndre Hopkins and Tony Pollard in the new look Titans offense that will have Will Levis at quarterback - if the Titans don't select a QB at pick No.7.

| Chargers release WR Mike Williams Coming off September ACL injury By: Mike Krueger | Mar 13 2024, 2:05 pm
Sources: The #Chargers are releasing WR Mike Williams, making him a free agent. Williams, on the books for a $32M cap hit, becomes a top FA WR available. The Chargers would like to bring him back, but Mike Williams will test the market. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The Chargers needed to make this move (saves $20M in cap space) in order to get under the cap. Williams is coming off a September ACL injury and has topped 1000 yards just twice in his seven-year career. At age 29, he will likely have a decent market as one of the lone big-bodied receivers available.

| Trade: Steelers ship WR Diontae Johnson to Panthers Carolina gets CB Donte Jackson, teams swap late-round picks By: Mike Krueger | Mar 12 2024, 7:14 pm
Trade! The #Steelers are sending WR Diontae Johnson to the #Panthers for CB Donte Jackson and a pick swap, per sources. Full trade: The #Panthers get Diontae Johnson and pick No. 240. The #Steelers get Donte Jackson and pick 178. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Johnson was entering the final year of his deal with the Steelers. The Panthers are in desperate need of wide receiver help as they try to get some weapons for QB Bryce Young. This move makes Johnson the clear No.1 wide receiver in Carolina but his fantasy value will be shaky as we wait for the Panthers offense to turn around.
