| Isiah Pacheco clears concussion protocol, expected to play Clyde Edwards-Helaire listed as Questionable By: Mike Krueger | Dec 30 2023, 4:24 pm
#Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and is expected to play, source said. He was listed as questionable with a concussion and also a shoulder injury. Jerick McKinnon has been placed on IR. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: The Chiefs were looking at starting Clyde Edwards-Helaire on Sunday against the Bengals but it will now be Pacheco who is a solid RB2 against a middling Cincinnati defense against the run.

| Jaguars rule Out Trevor Lawrence for Week 17 Shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 29 2023, 3:49 pm
The #Jaguars ruled out QB Trevor Lawrence (right shoulder) for Sunday. It'll be backup C.J. Beathard against Carolina. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: This will be the first game missed for Lawrence in his NFL career. Beathard starting at quarterback downgrades the Jaguars offense but WR Calvin Ridley, TE Evan Engram and RB Travis Etienne are still in play against the Panthers who've given up the most rushing TDs (18) to running backs this season. Beathard should be treated as a middling QB2.

| Jacoby Brissett lands on injury report with hamstring issue Questionable for Week 17 By: Mike Krueger | Dec 29 2023, 12:56 pm
Commanders’ QB Jacoby Brissett is being added to the injury report due to hamstring tightness and will be listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the 49ers. If he can’t start, Sam Howell would. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: It's never good to be added to the injury report on a Friday. If Brissett can't go, the Commanders will turn back to Sam Howell who's been on the struggle bus the last two weeks. Washington plays early on Sunday so we'll know before lineups lock at 1 pm Eastern if he's a go or not.
| Ja'Marr Chase limited in practice Friday No decision yet on playing status By: Mike Krueger | Dec 29 2023, 12:19 pm
#Bengals coach Zac Taylor says, on WR Ja'Marr Chase practicing the last two days, "We'll see." At the least, Chase has a chance to go... (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Chase will be a gametime decision after practicing on a limited basis Thursday and Friday with his shoulder injury. The Chiefs aren't a great matchup for opposing WRs, giving up the 5th fewest fantasy points to the position, but Chase should be in fantasy lineups if he's able to go.

| Jaylen Waddle unlikely to play Week 17 Sprained ankle By: Mike Krueger | Dec 28 2023, 3:26 pm
As Adam Schefter reported, Jaylen Waddle unlikely to play Sunday. Not a surprise, considering he hasn't been at practice this week and has been using a walking boot. High ankle sprains can take 2 to 8 weeks to heal, per the Cleveland Clinic. (Barry Jackson on X)
FFToday's Take: Waddle has missed practice Wednesday and Thursday and doesn't appear likely to suit up this week against the Ravens. Miami and Baltimore are battling for the top seed in the playoffs making this a pivotal game for both. Expect Tyreek Hill to carry the receiving load for Miami.
| Keenan Allen, Josh Palmer miss practice Thursday Chargers thin at wide receiver By: Mike Krueger | Dec 28 2023, 3:20 pm
Keenan Allen (heel) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) not practicing today. Both doing some agility work and running off to the side with trainers. (Daniel Popper on X)
FFToday's Take: Allen hasn't practiced since Week 14 and will almost certainly be on the inactive list Sunday. Palmer seems headed for the same fate as he tries get clear of the concussion protocol. The Chargers could be rolling out Quentin Johnston, Jalen Guyton and Alex Erickson as their top three receivers against the Broncos.

| Vikings will start Jaren Hall at quarterback Yet another QB change for Week 17 By: Mike Krueger | Dec 28 2023, 1:35 pm
Vikings’ HC Kevin O’Connell announced that QB Jaren Hall will start Sunday night vs. the Packers. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Yet another QB change for Week 17. Nick Mullens threw for 411 yards and 2 TDs last week against the Lions but also had 4 INTs and 2 fumbles in the Vikings loss. Minnesota still has a chance for playoffs as they try and piece together their QB position.
| Amari Cooper a gametime decision for Week 17 Heel injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 28 2023, 8:18 am
#Browns WR Amari Cooper (heel) is hopeful he can play tonight against the #Jets, but his status remains up in the air, per sources.
The short week is tough. Cooper knows his body well. They’ll get a better sense closer to kickoff. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Not having Cooper would be a big blow for the Browns offense who have struggled to run the ball recently. Cooper posted 265 receiving yards and 2 TDs last week against the Texans. The Jets represent a much tougher matchup, giving up the fewest fantasy points to receivers.
| Jarrett Stidham in, Russell Wilson to the bench Broncos trying avoid injury payment to Wilson By: Mike Krueger | Dec 27 2023, 12:00 pm
Change in Denver: Broncos’ HC Sean Payton has informed his team that Jarrett Stidham will start Sunday vs. the Chargers, with Russell Wilson as the backup, per sources.
With a 1-3 record in the last four games, Denver is looking to spark its offense and see what it has in Stidham. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: The Broncos are trying to avoid a serious injury to Wilson which would trigger an injury clause in his contract worth $37 million if he can't pass a physical in March of 2024. Wilson is already guaranteed $39 million next season. Stidham gets a shot against the Chargers defense that's allowed the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks.

| Giants going with Tyrod Taylor at QB for Week 17 Tommy DeVito to the bench By: Mike Krueger | Dec 27 2023, 10:57 am
The #Giants are starting QB Tyrod Taylor on Sunday, coach Brian Daboll tells reporters, sending QB Tommy DeVito to the bench.
One of the NFL’s best stories, the rookie DeVito held his own for several games. Now, Taylor takes over. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: DeVito got benched at halftime in the Giants Week 16 loss to the Eagles finishing 9 of 16 for 55 yards. Taylor went 7 of 16 for 133 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT and rushed for 21 yards in the second half. The Rams have given up the 11th most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season giving Taylor some high-end QB2 upside in Week 17.
| Commanders make QB change, Brissett to start Wk17 Sam Howell to the bench By: Mike Krueger | Dec 27 2023, 10:55 am
The #Commanders are making a QB change with two games left. Following his impressive performance on Sunday, Jacoby Brissett will start against the #49ers, coach Ron Rivera is announcing.
Sam Howell to the bench. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Howell has struggled his last couple games while Brissett has relieved him and led the team to touchdowns. This isn't a great matchup for Brissett against the 49ers (10th fewest points allowed to QBs) but does breathe some life into the Washington pass catchers.

| Likely high-ankle sprain for Jaylen Waddle Week 17 status uncertain for now By: Doug Orth | Dec 26 2023, 8:10 pm
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel says WR Jaylen Waddle’s shin injury from yesterday’s game is “looking more like a high ankle” today.
Miami will get further tests done to determine the severity. (ESPN.com - Marcel Louis-Jacques)
FFToday's Take: If Waddle suffered the dreaded high-ankle sprain, he would almost certainly be out for Week 17 against the Ravens. His absence would theoretically increase Tyreek Hill's ceiling against arguably the best defense in the league and put Cedrick Wilson on the streaming map in deep leagues. Miami could also just opt to rely more heavily on De'Von Achane as a receiver out of the backfield and/or the running game as well.

| T.J. Hockenson suffers torn ACL & MCL in Wk 16 In a race to get cleared for 2024 By: Mike Krueger | Dec 26 2023, 3:21 pm
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell announced that standout TE T.J. Hockenson is out for the season with a torn ACL and MCL. Time will tell if he’s able to be ready for the start of the 2024 season. A brutal injury. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Hockenson had a 4-58-0 line against the Lions before getting injured. The current TE2 in fantasy points per game (PPR) will be in a race to get cleared before the start of the 2024 season. Josh Oliver and Johnny Mundt will likely share tight end responsibilities for the Vikings moving forward with Oliver profiling as more of the pass-catching option.
| Jordan Addison week to week with sprained ankle More tests today By: Mike Krueger | Dec 25 2023, 8:15 am
Jordan Addison is considered week-to-week with an ankle sprain, source said, pending further testing today. That info comes today. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Addison had four targets but just 1 catch for 2 yards in Minnesota's loss to the Lions on Sunday. Tight end T.J. Hockenson also left the game early with a knee injury. K.J. Osborn and Brandon Powell would see a usage increase if Addison were to miss Week 17.
| Alexander Mattison expected to play, limited? Ty Chandler expected to carry the load By: Mike Krueger | Dec 24 2023, 7:00 am
#Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) is expected to play today against Detroit, source said, but he’s not 100%. Expect Minnesota to keep riding Ty Chandler. (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: Chandler has taken over this backfield if you believe what head coach Kevin O'Connell said during the week: “We’re kind of building with the mindset that Ty’s gonna be a guy that we’re trying to get the ball to a lot, both in the run and pass. And then, if we can have Alex, that’s gonna be a huge bonus for the depth”.

| Michael Pittman Jr. downgraded to Out for Week 16 Back in concussion protocol By: Mike Krueger | Dec 23 2023, 6:14 pm
Colts’ WR Michael Pittman Jr. (concussion/shoulder) has been downgraded to out for Sunday’s game vs. the Falcons. Michael Pittman cleared protocol Friday, traveled with the team today but picked up symptoms that led him being placed back into concussion protocol. He is now out. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Not great Bob. Pittman being back in concussion protocol is a gut punch during fantasy football playoff time. The Colts will be very thin at receiver with Josh Downs, Alec Pierce and D.J. Montgomery working as the top three options. The Colts use multiple tight ends making all of them irrelevant for fantasy purposes.
| Hunter Henry downgraded to Out Patriots down starting tight end By: Mike Krueger | Dec 23 2023, 1:23 pm
TE Hunter Henry (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday night’s game in Denver. It will be his first game missed as a Patriot. With Hunter Henry (knee) out, it thrusts Pharaoh Brown up the TE depth chart, with Mike Gesicki - whom Bill Belichick refers to as more of a receiver - also in that mix.
Could lead to Matt Sokol being elevated from practice squad.
Also, OT Conor McDermott (concussion) is out. (Mike Reiss on X)
FFToday's Take: The Patriots lose one of their key weapons on offense. Henry has scored 6 TDs this season which leads all receivers on the team. In his place, expect Mike Gesicki to fill the pass receiving void but won't be anything more than a TE2 given poor offensive environment.
| Trevor Lawrence clears concussion protocol Expected to play in Week 16 By: Mike Krueger | Dec 23 2023, 12:44 pm
Source: #Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and will travel to Tampa with his team. A significant development. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Lawrence continues his streak of not missing a game as he's expected to play against the Bucs after clearing concussion protocol. He'll be without two of his receivers (Christian Kirk, Zay Jones) so expect a lot work for Calvin Ridley and TE Evan Engram.
| Colts downgrade Zack Moss to Out for Week 16 Missed practice all week with forearm injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 23 2023, 11:48 am
RB Zack Moss (forearm) has been downgraded to OUT for Sunday’s game in Atlanta.
Moss did not practice all week after leaving the Steelers game in the first half with the injury. #Colts (George Bremer on X)
FFToday's Take: Jonathan Taylor is expected to return to action this week and should get the bulk of the running back touches for the Colts against the Falcons. Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson will be used in backup roles. The Falcons have yet to give up a rushing TD to a running back.
| Kenneth Walker expected to play despite missed practice time Shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 22 2023, 5:04 pm
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll says in media briefing after practice today that Geno Smith had "as good a Friday'' as any QB he can remember in a while and is good to go for Sunday. Also says RB Kenneth Walker is good to go. (Bob Codotta on X)
FFToday's Take: Walker missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but is expected to play according to Carroll. Carroll always speaks positively about player injuries so check Sunday inactive check on Walker is necessary. Walker posted a 19-86-1, 3-26-0 line last week against the Eagles. The Titans represent a neutral matchup for fantasy running backs, giving up the 16th most fantasy points to the position.

| Trevor Lawrence listed as Questionable Has a chance to clear concussion protocol on Saturday By: Mike Krueger | Dec 22 2023, 4:03 pm
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (concussion) is questionable for Sunday. HC Doug Pederson said earlier Friday that if Lawrence wasn’t cleared by the time the team leaves for Tampa Saturday afternoon he won’t travel. (Michael DiRocco on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: We'll know on Saturday afternoon if Lawrence is a go for Week 16 or not. If he sits, C.J. Beathard will get the start which will be an overall downgrade to the Jags offense as a whole. Zay Jones (hamstring) is also listed as Questionable but appears unlikely to play.
| Chargers rule Out Keenan Allen for Week 16 Heel injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 21 2023, 3:08 pm
Keenan Allen (heel) is out Saturday vs. Bills. Deane Leonard (heel) is doubtful. Essang Bassey (concussion), Nick Vannett (back), Nick Williams (shoulder) are questionable. (Daniel Popper on X)
FFToday's Take: Allen has missed practice the last two weeks and doesn't appear to be returning anytime soon, especially with the Chargers season in the tank and Easton Stick starting at quarterback. Starting wideouts are expected to be Josh Palmer and rookie Quentin Johnston. Both are WR3 options against the Bills on Saturday.
| C.J. Stroud still in concussion protocol Expected to miss Week 16 By: Mike Krueger | Dec 20 2023, 7:00 am
Texans starting quarterback C.J. Stroud is still dealing with concussion symptoms and is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns with veteran Case Keenum preparing to make his second start in a row, per league sources.
@AaronWilson_NFL (Aaron Wilson on X)
FFToday's Take: The fact that the Houston QB is still experiencing symptoms won't give him enough time to get cleared for Week 16, meaning Keenum will get his second-straight start. Keenum posted a 229-1-1 line with 2 yards rushing last week against the Titans. He's a low-end QB2 option this week against the Browns.
| Isiah Pacheco should be good to go for Week 16 Shoulder injury/surgery caused RB to miss last two games By: Doug Orth | Dec 18 2023, 6:40 pm
Andy Reid on RB Isiah Pacheco (shoulder): "He'll be back this week. He'll be good to go this week, unless there's further setbacks. But right now, everything's positive for him to go." (Arrowhead Pride - Pete Sweeney)
FFToday's Take: Pacheco is the overall RB17 entering Monday Night Football despite missing Weeks 14 and 15. The second-year back was starting to catch fire for his fantasy managers before the injury, topping 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games before the injury. It will be interesting to see if Kansas City opts to go right back to giving him 20 touches or HC Andy Reid tries to mix in Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon a bit more. Either way, he should remain a solid RB2 option.

| Jalen Hurts seemingly good to go for MNF Illness late in the week left him questionable for Week 15 By: Doug Orth | Dec 18 2023, 6:00 pm
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, questionable with an illness, will play tonight against the #Seahawks, per me and @MikeGarafolo. He’s feeling well enough to go. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)
FFToday's Take: Hurts is reportedly dealing with something that is not the flu but flu-like. While it is good news for the Eagles and fantasy managers that he will play, the question now becomes if Hurts can play the full game or play anywhere close to his usual standard. If ever there was a time that a mid-game switch to a backup quarterback was somewhat predictable or even likely, it might be this circumstance. With that said, fantasy managers have little choice at this point but to plug Hurts into their lineups and hope for the best.

| Torn ACL for Keaton Mitchell Out for season; unlikely to start 2024 season on time By: Doug Orth | Dec 18 2023, 4:30 pm
#Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell, one of their bright young stars with breakout ability, has suffered an ACL tear, sources said after the MRI. His season is over but he should make a full recovery. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take: Just a brutal blow for one of the most electric players in the league. In the short term, the Ravens will go back to Gus Edwards as the lead back, Justice Hill as the primary option on passing downs and elevate Melvin Gordon from the practice squad. As for Mitchell, he is lucky to not have damaged more than his ACL. Expect Mitchell to begin next season on IR in hopes he can play again around midseason.
| Keaton Mitchell suffers knee injury Sunday night Will miss the rest of the season By: Mike Krueger | Dec 18 2023, 12:11 am
Big-play running back Keaton Mitchell sustained a serious left knee injury in the fourth quarter and was carted off the field. "It looks like he won't be back for the rest of this season," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. Baltimore will promote two-time Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon from the practice squad to fill Mitchell's spot on the 53-man roster, according to Harbaugh. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: Mitchell was a key piece to the Ravens running game which will now lean on Lamar Jackson, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill. Edwards is likely to see the bulk of Mitchell's opportunities by will likely be a TD-dependent RB2 moving forward. The upcoming Ravens schedule includes @SF, MIA and PIT.

| AJ Dillon is Inactive for Week 15 Aaron Jones will play By: Mike Krueger | Dec 17 2023, 11:32 am
Jaire Alexander is inactive for the sixth consecutive game despite not being put on IR.
AJ Dillon will miss the first game in his career due to injury because of his broken right thumb.
Watson, Savage, Dillon, Cox, Alexander, Caleb Jones, Toure the inactives. (Matt Schneidman on X)
FFToday's Take: Dillon was Questionable heading into Sunday, dealing with a thumb issue. With Aaron Jones (knee) active, expect him and Patrick Taylor to handle most of the running back duties. Jones' workload is still a bit of a question mark. We've seen him be limited in previous games when returning from injury.
| Chris Olave is Inactive for Week 15 Ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 17 2023, 11:31 am
Saints WR Chris Olave and RT Ryan Ramczyk both officially inactive. RB Jamaal Williams active.
Healthy inactives: QB Jake Haener, S Cam Dantzler, LB Monty Rice. Previously ruled out RB Kendre Miller (ankle) and DE Isaiah Foskey (quad). (Mike Triplett on X)
FFToday's Take: Olave was a gametime decision this week but will sit this one out against the Giants. With the Saints thin at receiver, A.T. Perry and Rashid Shaheed are likely to see the most WR snaps but expect a lot of Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill in this game.
| Tyreek Hill is Inactive for Week 15 Ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 17 2023, 11:30 am
Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is inactive today. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Despite returning to the game in a limited capacity last week with an ankle injury, Hill is going to sit this one out against the Jets. That will likely shift more work to Jaylen Waddle and Cedrick Wilson but expect the Dolphins to use a run-heavy approach with Raheem Mostert and Devon Achane (toe) who is active.
| Eagles list Jalen Hurts Questionable with illness Traveling separate from the team By: Mike Krueger | Dec 17 2023, 11:04 am
Eagles are downgrading QB Jalen Hurts to questionable for Monday night’s game in Seattle after his sickness worsened overnight, per a source.
Hurts still is harboring hopes of playing Monday night, and is traveling to Seattle separately from the team so as to try not get anyone else sick. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Players typically play with illness but this is a situation to monitor. It sounds like Hurts may have been ruled out if they game was Sunday. Marcus Mariota would start if Hurts ends up on the bench.
| Chris Godwin expected to play Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 16 2023, 11:28 pm
Buccaneers’ WR Chris Godwin, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Packers, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Godwin missed practice time early in the week but did practice Full on Friday. Godwin has just 2 TDs on the season (1 rushing) but did see 11 targets last week against the Falcons. His matchup this week against the Packers isn't the best as they've given up just two 100-yard receiving games all season (Olave, Allen).
| Aaron Jones expected to play in Week 15 Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 16 2023, 11:27 pm
Packers’ RB Aaron Jones, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Buccaneers, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: It's been a lost season for Jones who injured his hamstring in Week 1 and hasn't been able to stay healthy since. The last time he played was Week 11. His snaps may be limited even with AJ Dillon listed as Questionable with a thumb issue. Kenyan Drake has been elevated from the practice squad.
| Gametime decision for Chris Olave Missed practice all week with ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 15 2023, 2:47 pm
Dennis Allen said Saints WR Chris Olave will be questionable right up until game time even though he didn’t practice all week. Said it’s not a high ankle sprain and he’s done well in rehab. And he’s the kind of guy who will go if he has any chance.
Said he was hurt on TD catch. (Mike Triplett on X)
FFToday's Take: The Saints will be extremely thin at the WR position if Olave isn't able to go. Rashid Shaheed got in limited practices this week and could be active and A.T. Perry will also be in the mix. The Giants have been a great matchup for opposing WRs giving up the 3rd most fantasy points to the position.
| Isiah Pacheco to miss second straight game Could practice next week By: Mike Krueger | Dec 15 2023, 1:58 pm
The Chiefs have ruled out Isiah Pacheco for Sunday's game at New England. They will play without their RB1 for the second straight week. Andy Reid said Pacheco had surgery on his shoulder and could be back at practice next week. (Adam Teicher on X)
FFToday's Take: We saw the Chiefs use Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon last week with Pacheco out, and that's likely what we'll see again. CEH had 15 opportunities while McKinnon had 7. McKinnon's use in the passing game and around the goaline will keep both in the Flex conversation this week against the Patriots.
| Brian Robinson Jr. Out for Week 15, hamstring injury More work for Antonio Gibson, Chris Rodriguez Jr. By: Mike Krueger | Dec 15 2023, 1:20 pm
Commanders ruled out RB Brian Robinson for Sunday’s game at Los Angeles due to his hamstring injury. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Robinson injured his hamstring back in Week 13 against the Dolphins. The Commanders were on a bye in Week 14, but that wasn't enough time to overcome his injury. We should see increased usage for Antonio Gibson and Chris Rodriguez Jr. who will likely handle the majority of backfield work. Gibson will have a good projection this week in a game with a 50.5 total.
| C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins expected to miss Week 15 Texans thin on offense By: Mike Krueger | Dec 15 2023, 12:56 pm
Besides C.J. Stroud (concussion), other #Texans set to miss Sunday's game against #Titans Will Anderson Jr. (high-ankle sprain), George Fant (hip), Nico Collins (calf), Blake Cashman (hamstring), Tavierre Thomas (hamstring) @KPRC2 (Aaron Wilson on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Texans are losing steam as a result of injuries to their top three players on offense. Stroud, Collins and Tank Dell will be out when Houston takes on Tennessee. Davis Mills will be a low-end QB2 option while Noah Brown offers some flex viability if you're desperate at the WR position.
| Josh Jacobs not expected to play in Week 15 Zamir White expected to start By: Mike Krueger | Dec 14 2023, 4:25 pm
#Raiders RB Josh Jacobs, listed as questionable with a quad, is going to be out tonight vs the #Chargers, per me and
@MikeGarafolo. Jacobs didn’t practice this week.
Zamir White is slated to be the starter. (Ian Rapoport on X)
FFToday's Take: Some of the beat writers suggested that Jacobs may have been able to play this week if the Raiders played on Sunday. That's a good indication that he'll be back in Week 16 to face the Chiefs. White and Ameer Abdullah will handle the running back work this evening and have a good matchup against a Chargers-D that's given up the 6th most fantasy points to running backs.
| Alexander Mattison ruled out for Week 15 Ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 14 2023, 2:24 pm
Vikings ruled out RB Alexander Mattison for Saturday’s game at Cincinnati and are listing WR Justin Jefferson as questionable. (Adam Schefter on X)
FFToday's Take: Mattison injured his ankle last week against the Raiders and missed practice this week. Ty Chandler is expected to step into the starting role with Kene Nwangwu filling in as a backup. The Bengals represent a neutral matchup for opposing RBs making Chandler a viable Flex option given the expected volume.
| Darren Waller back at practice, return in Week 15? Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Dec 14 2023, 12:09 pm
TE Darren Waller’s 21-day window to be activated off injured reserve is being opened. He will practice Thursday for the Giants.
Waller has been on IR with a hamstring injury since the Jets game in late October. He was optimistic when talking Wednesday about being able to play this week against the Saints, even if it’s on a pitch count. (Jordan Raanan on X)
FFToday's Take: The last time we saw Waller on the field was Week 8. He's been bothered by hamstring issues throughout his career and has only played two full seasons since being drafted in 2015. Waller appears to be trending in the right direction but we probably won't know until Friday night or Saturday if he will be activated off the IR in time for Week 15.
