Outlook: The Bills' slot receiver role has delivered some nice fantasy production in recent years, with Cole Beasley even turning in a Pro Bowl season back in 2020. Beasley was significantly less productive in 2021, which led to the team moving on from him this past season and instead giving the job to Isaiah McKenzie. McKenzie wasn't particularly great, catching 42 passes for 423 yards and four touchdowns and his lack of performance resulted in the Bills actually bringing Beasley back to the roster toward the end of the year.
Now with both Beasley and McKenzie gone, all signs seem to point toward second-year receiver Khalil Shakir getting the first crack at manning the slot for the Bills. Shakir played half of his snaps out of the slot as a rookie and while he didn't do much on the stat sheet, his 4.43 speed along with his 6'0, 190 lb frame makes him an interesting weapon at the position who could also move to the outside in some situations. Unfortunately, he does have some competition from the likes of veteran free agent signings Deonte Harty and Trent Sherfield, as well as tight ends Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid.
It's unlikely that Buffalo has another 2020 Beasley-like season from their slot receiver, but if there's one player who could potentially break out and become fantasy relevant in that position on the Bills roster, it's probably Shakir. He's a late-round dart throw in deep leagues, but one who could break out early in the year and make a splash, or simply fall flat on his face and be an easy cut for fantasy managers.

Outlook: Arizona's usage of Dortch last season remains a complete mystery as seemingly every time he was given an opportunity, he delivered... only to be put right back on the shelf when the team's other wideouts returned to health. To that end, Dortch had five games of 50-plus yards receiving, but in the other 12 he had a combined 68 yards.
Now that Hopkins and A.J. Green are gone, Dortch looks like he has a good chance of being the club's No. 3 receiver (unless third-rounder Michael Wilson has a great camp). We'll see if the new coaching staff has a better plan for Dortch than the last one. He's not worth drafting with so much uncertainty on the offense, but he's someone that belongs on your watch list.

Outlook: Nick Westbrook-Ikhine only recorded one game over 60 receiving yards last season. It just so happens that one game (Week 10 against the Broncos) was the best of his career, hauling in five receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
Including that one-hit wonder, Westbrook-Ikhine only had 25 receptions for 397 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games last season. His 82.7 fantasy points were the 89th-most fantasy points among receivers as he averaged just 5.5 per game.
Since Treylon Burks will get most of the targets and Henry will be fed the ball 20-plus times per game, Westbrook-Ikhine will likely have similar numbers to last season given the expected low passing volume. Don't count on the Titans WR2 being drafted in fantasy leagues, but he will be picked up off the waiver wire if Burks gets injured.

Outlook: Marshall likely won't compete for the WR1 spot in Carolina as he hasn't really gotten his feet wet in the NFL. Granted, he's only played two seasons, but he only caught 28 passes for 490 yards and a touchdown in 13 games last year and has found the endzone just once in two years. However, one stat that makes him stand out is his 17.5 yards per reception, the sixth-most in the league.
Based on his yards per reception, he averaged 2.75 points on each catch last season in PPR leagues. If Young somehow manages to target him just as often as Thielen and Chark, Marshall could be a dark horse breakout star but that seems unlikely given the circumstances, leaving Marshall as someone to keep an eye on as a waiver wire add once the season begins.
