|Doyle missed most of the 2018 season with a hip subluxation and then a kidney injury, opening the door for Eric Ebron to lead the league in touchdown receptions at the tight end position. Doyle appears to be on the mend and is working on getting his playing weight back up to his normal level.
If on the field, Doyle will likely be used as the starter along with Ebron, but Doyle's inability to stay healthy makes him somewhat of a question mark.
| T.Y. Hilton ruled out for Week 13|
Setback in practice yesterday
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 28, 1:00 pm
|TY Hilton suffered a slight setback in practice yesterday, and is OUT for Sunday’s game vs Tennessee. He’ll remain week-to-week. (Zak Keefer on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Hilton has been battling a calf injury the last few weeks and was limited to a 3-18 line on six targets last week. Zach Pascal and Chester Rogers should be the top targets on the outside with Jack Doyle commanding a lot of opportunities at tight end.
| Eric Ebron headed to IR|
Colts TE needs ankle surgery
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 25, 7:00 am
|TE Eric Ebron is headed for Injured Reserve because he needs procedures on both of his ailing ankles. He finishes the season with 31 catches, 375 yards and three TDs while battling through several injuries. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Ebron was largely a fade by the fantasy football community this Summer. He currently sits as the TE12 overall with a 31-375-3 line. Jack Doyle and Mo Alie-Cox are next up on the Colts depth chart at tight end.
| Jacoby Brissett will start against Jaguars|
Parris Campbell, T.Y. Hilton ruled out
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 15, 1:30 pm
|Jacoby Brissett made it through the week without incident. Officially named the starter.
Two players ruled out: Parris Campbell and T.Y. Hilton. (George Bremer on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Brissett missed last week with a sprained MCL but will return in Week 11 against the Jaguars. Without Hilton, it's hard to get excited about Brissett's fantasy propects but his presence does help the likes of Zach Pascal and tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle.
|T.Y. Hilton out with calf injury|
Injury occurred in practice on Wednesday
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 1, 1:30 pm
|Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton will not play in Sunday's game at Pittsburgh due to a calf injury, coach Frank Reich said Friday. Reich said that type of injury generally keeps a player out 3-4 weeks. Reich said the injury occurred in practice Wednesday. Hilton missed the Colts’ Week 4 game against the Oakland Raiders because of a quad injury. The Colts are 0-5 without Hilton since he entered the NFL in 2012. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: Ouch. The Colts have lost their best playmaker which isn't good news for the offense in general. Zach Pascal could lead the team in targets but more opportunities are available for Deon Cain and Parris Campbell. The Colts could also use more two tight end sets with Eric Ebron () and Jack Doyle
