A big play specialist who is a nearly ideal complement for Antonio Brown, Tyrell Williams heads from Los Angeles to a division rival in Oakland. Williams has quietly been producing elite per-catch numbers throughout his career and now he'll get the opportunity to potentially see even more playing time as the team's presumed No.2 option out wide, while playing alongside one of the best wide receivers of all-time.
Williams himself isn't likely to produce great fantasy numbers, at least with any sort of consistency, here in 2019. The Raiders aren't likely to be a pass-happy offense and when they do pass it'll likely be heavily focused on getting the ball to Brown. Still, Williams should see an uptick in targets this season as alongside Brown, he's the only other proven pass catching weapon in this entire offense -- well, aside from running back Jalen Richard.
If Williams can push for nearly 100 targets on the season, he does have the upside to be a low-end WR2 at the end of the season. The frustrating thing is that he might accumulate half of those stats in two or three games, and that production has been very difficult to predict throughout his career.

Josh Jacobs expected to play Missed practice all week with shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 27, 7:00 am

| | #Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) is expected to play today, while Jon Gruden said WR Tyrell Williams (foot) should be back, as well. OT Trent Brown (calf) is also expected to play, while #Texans CB Bradley Roby (hamstring) is out for Houston. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Jacobs missed practice most of the week with a shoulder injury but is expected to give it a go against the Texans. He reportedly took a shot to stay in the game last week. He'll be on the RB2 radar in Week 8.

| Tyrell Williams expected to play Week 8 Missed previous two games with foot injury By: Doug Orth | Thu Oct 24, 8:00 pm

| | OC Greg Olson said WR Tyrell Williams “looked good yesterday and followed it up with another good day today. So, we’re excited to get him back.” (The Athletic - Vic Tafur)
FFToday's Take: Williams got his Raiders career off to a very good start by scoring in each of his first four games, but it is notable that he failed to reach 50 yards in the final three contests. It's possible Oakland's injured receiving corps could provide an opportunity to increase his yardage totals. This week's opponent (the Texans) are decimated at cornerback, making Williams a high-upside WR3 in Week 8.

| Josh Jacobs misses practice Thursday Shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 24, 2:15 pm

| | Don’t see Josh Jacobs (shoulder) at practice. Tyrell Williams, Trent Brown, Rodney Hudson and Gabe Jackson are practicing. #Raiders (Vic Tafur on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This is the second missed practice for Jacobs this week as he deals with a shoulder injury suffered in Week 8. HC Jon Gruden said Jacobs has a legitimate injury and took a shot last week to stay in the game. DeAndre Washington should operate as the lead back against the Texans if Jacobs isn't able to play on Sunday.

| Tyrell Williams dealing with plantar fasciitis Missed practice Wednesday By: Mike Krueger | Wed Oct 16, 4:22 pm

| | Gruden said Tyrell Williams has plantar fasciitis and it’s not getting much better. (Vic Tafur on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Yikes. Williams missed practice on Wednesday and it doesn't sound like he's going to return anytime soon. Williams last played in Week 4 then sat in Week 5 when the Raiders traveled to London. Oakland had a bye in Week 6. The Raiders are now looking at Hunter Renfrow, Trevor Davis. Keelan Doss and newly acquired Zay Jones as their wide receiver group.

| Tyrell Williams is inactive Foot injury By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 6, 11:30 am

| | #Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot-questionable) is inactive. (Adam Caplan on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Raiders are now incredibly thin at wide receiver with Hunter Renfrow, Keelan Doss likely to see the most work at receiver. Tight end Darren Waller could lead the team in targets.

| Josh Jacobs, Tyrell Williams hurting RB dealing with groin issue, WR has hip pointer By: Doug Orth | Mon Sep 16, 5:00 pm

| | Gruden said that Josh Jacobs is dealing with a groin issue. Tyrell Williams with a hip pointer. (NBC Sports Bay Area)
FFToday's Take: Both players performed well in Week 2 for their fantasy owners, but life is about to get more difficult for both on the road against the Vikings in Week 3, especially if they aren't 100 percent. Williams, in particular, could struggle in the shadow coverage of Xavier Rhodes. Jacobs could cede a few touches to Jalen Richard and/or DeAndre Washington if he isn't ready to handle a full load. Both Jacobs and Williams should be considered back-end fantasy starters this week.
