|A newly-acquired weapon for San Francisco heading into 2019, Tevin Coleman was the team leader in snaps in seven of the 49ers' first 10 games, and he missed two of those games due to injury. He then fell off significantly in snap share in Week 13, never again surpassing Mostert as the RB snap leader. Still, Coleman was seeing nearly 30 percent of the 49ers' snaps at running back down the stretch, which did give him some fantasy value, including a 22-carry, 105-yard, two touchdown game in the playoffs.
While he's almost certainly second in the pecking order heading into the season, many analysts are throwing dirt onto Coleman's grave well before they should be. An injury to Mostert would almost certainly make Coleman one of the most highly sought-after fantasy assets and he may still have some fantasy-relevant weeks if Mostert remains healthy.
| Raheem Mostert placed on IR|

FFToday's Take: Moster suffered yet another sprained ankle in last week's game against the Cowboys and has been placed on IR. It's the same ankle he missed time with earlier this season. We could see a committee of Jeff Wilson and Tevin Coleman in the 49ers matchup against the Cardinals in Week 16. Wilson would be the preferred fantasy play.

Mostert, Coleman should be back after the bye

FFToday's Take: The 49ers have been decimated with injuries this season and so it continues. Jerick McKinnon was the main ball-carrier in Week 10 with an 18-33 line against the Saints. The 49ers have a bye in Week 11 and should get back Raheem Mostert (ankle) and Tevin Coleman (knee) in Week 12.
| 49ers activate Tevin Coleman|
Expected to share workload with McKinnon and Hasty
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Oct 31, 4:33 pm
|49ers Saturday transactions:
* Activated RB Tevin Coleman & CB K'Waun Williams from IR
* "Flexed" WR River Cracraft & S Johnathan Cyprien from pquad
* Put RB Jeff Wilson (ankle) on IR
* Downgraded DL Kentavius Street (illness) from questionable to doubtful (Matt Barrows on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: In addition to Coleman, San Francisco will have Jerick McKinnon and JaMycal Hasty to handle running back duties. It's anybody's guess how the workload will be split. McKinnon wash shelved last week in what seemed to be an obvious spot for a sizeable workload. All three 49ers' running backs are risky fantasy plays against the Seahawks.
