Adam Thielen listed as Doubtful Unlikely to play in Week 14 By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 6, 4:00 pm

Adam Thielen is DOUBTFUL and Riley Reiff is QUESTIONABLE to play for #Vikings, team announces. (Andrew Krammer on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Thielin will likely be inactive on Sunday leaving Stefon Diggs the main option at wide receiver for Kirk Cousins. Diggs has disappointed in this role last week (4-25) but gets a decent matchup against the Lions who have given up the 10th most fantasy points to WRs.

Adam Thielen eyeing Week 13 return? Missed most of last five games with hamstring injury By: Doug Orth | Thu Nov 28, 11:55 pm

| |
Adam Thielen remains on track for possible Monday return. Has missed 4 of the past 5 games with a hamstring injury. The Vikings didn't practice Thursday but he was estimated as a limited participant. (Chris Tomasson on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Thielen reportedly suffered a "slight scare" with his injury earlier in the week, so it remains to be seen if he limited designation is a good thing or not. Considering he's already had one setback with a hamstring, owners would be wise to make prove he can make it through a full game without aggravating it before plugging him back into fantasy lineups. Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith figure to benefit the most from another absence.

Adam Thielen ruled out for Week 11 Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 15, 1:38 pm

| |
Vikings ruled out WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) for Week 11 against the Broncos. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This makes sense as the Vikings have a bye in Week 12 which should allow him enough time to get ready for Week 13. With Thielen out, Stefon Diggs should be the focal point of the passing game but he has a rough matchup against Broncos cornerback Chris Harris. Diggs is more of a WR2 than WR1 in Week 11.

Adam Thielen misses practice Thursday Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 14, 12:24 pm

| |
No Linval Joseph (knee), Adam Thielen (hamstring) or Josh Kline (concussion) at #Vikings practice today.
DT Shamar Stephen returned. (Andrew Krammer on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: With the Vikings having a bye in Week 12 it's starting to feel like we may not see Thielen on the field until Week 13 against the Seahawks. If Thielen sits, Stefon Diggs is the only piece of the Vikings receiving corps that fantasy owners should feel comfortable with.

Adam Thielen unlikely to play Week 10 Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Tue Nov 5, 2:22 pm

| |
#Vikings WR Adam Thielen’s strained hamstring is no worse after his brief appearance in KC, I'm told, but he’s unlikely to play Sunday against the #Cowboys. Could feel it pulling and need to calm it down. Note: Bye is 2 weeks away and team errs on the conservative side. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Fantasy owners should plan to be without Thielen this week and possible more given the Vikings have a bye in Week 12. Stefon Diggs will continue to operate as the team's top wideout for the next couple weeks.

Adam Thielen aggravates hamstring injury Played only seven snaps in Week 9 By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 4, 4:50 pm

| |
Vikings coach Mike Zimmer wouldn't speculate (Nov. 4) on when Adam Thielen will return from hamstring injury. "Whenever the doctor says he's ready to play, he's ready." (Chris Tomasson on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Thanks, coach. In all seriousness, this is another case in which fantasy owners appeared to get deceived, as we were generally led to believe Thielen was close to being ready to play on a short week in Week 8 and the team was just being cautious with him leading up to Week 9. At this point, owners probably should wait for him to make it through an entire game before inserting him back into lineups. Stefon Diggs will continue to operate as the clear WR1 in his absence.

Adam Thielen out for Thursday Night Football Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Wed Oct 23, 2:13 pm

| |
#Vikings are listing WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) as out for tomorrow night's game. (Adam Caplan on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: The Vikings will rest their No.1 receiver on a short week leaving Stefon Diggs and Olabisi Johnson as the top wideouts with Laquon Treadwell expected to see more work. The Vikings may also use more two-tight end sets with Kyle Rudolph and rookie Irv Smith.

Adam Thielen unlikely to play Thursday Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Mon Oct 21, 12:55 pm

| |
An MRI showed #Vikings WR Adam Thielen's pulled hamstring isn't a serious injury, sources say. Unlikely to play Thursday against the #Redskins, but optimism he won't miss much time. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Olabisi Johnson saw 8 targets after Thielen left so he's worth considering if your in a pinch at wide receiver in Week 8. Stefon Diggs will likely see a bump in targets and be a borderline WR1 against the Redskins.

Stefon Diggs expected to be active Off-field shenanigans By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 6, 9:00 am

| |
Vikings’ WR Stefon Diggs is expected to be active today vs the NY Giants, per sources. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Diggs reportedly requested a trade after being unhappy with his usage this season. He missed team meetings and was fined by the team. The Vikings passing game has a great matchup against the Giants this week but their low-volume passing attack makes Thielen and Diggs risky plays in Week 5.

Stefon Diggs returns to team on Thursday Frustrated WR skipped Wednesday because he was "sick" By: Mike Krueger | Thu Oct 3, 1:15 pm

| |
After sitting out Wednesday's practice for what the Vikings called "non-injury related" reasons, Stefon Diggs returned to the team's facility on Thursday and acknowledged his frustration with the state of the offense through four games. (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
FFToday's Take: The latest NFL drama queen says he's not a me-first guy and always puts the team before himself. That doesn't appear to be the case given his recent actions. Diggs also missed Monday's team meeting after losing to the Bears in Week 4. The Vikings have a juicy matchup against the Giants in Week 5. We'll have to wait to find out what kind of role Diggs will have on Sunday.
