| Le'Veon Bell gets knee checked out|
Underwent MRI on Monday
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 4, 6:15 pm
|Le'Veon Bell getting an MRI today on his knee, per Gase. Still awaiting results. (ESPN - Rich Cimini)|
FFToday's Take: Fantasy owners will need to wait to see if the MRI was precautionary or not. Bell saw his second-largest workload of the season (25 touches) in Week 9, but the injury might explain why he could muster only one run over seven yards in a great matchup against the Dolphins. (Then again, the Jets' offensive line woes could explain it as well.) Owners would be wise to add Ty Montgomery and Bilal Powell - in that order - if Bell is forced to miss some time.
|Jets looking to trade Le'Veon Bell before deadline|
RB likely to find suitors looking for "bell cow" back
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Oct 29, 12:45 pm
|NY Daily News' Manish Mehta on Twitter: "Sources: Jets looking to trade Le'Veon Bell before 4 pm deadline."
The 27-year-old back's current contract (four-year, $52.5 million deal with $27 million guaranteed this offseason) carries fully guaranteed money through 2020. Le'Veon Bell can still run -- though his best days are likely behind him.
FFToday's Take: This would leave behind $13.19 million in dead cap hits over the next two years, so it shows that Adam Gase and now-fired GM Mike Maccagnan were never really on the same page and Gase is cashing in whatever chips he has left to get the team on the right track. Mehta cited the Texans, Chiefs and Bills as suitors that "could use" a bell-cow back, but New York has reportedly yet to receive any calls on their starter. For now, it's not a bad idea to pick up Ty Montgomery and/or Bilal Powell, since they'll be taking most of carries/targets once Bell is out the door.
| Le'Veon Bell getting MRI on shoulder|
Will miss practice Thursday

|And one more piece of Jets’ news: RB Le’Veon Bell is undergoing an MRI on shoulder. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: And the hits just keep coming for the Jets. Darnold, Quincy Enunwa and now Bell has some shoulder soreness that the team wants to get checked out. We'll have to wait for MRI results to see what this means for Bell's availability, but you might want to grab Ty Montgomery in your league if he's sitting on the waiver wire.
