One of the most improbable WR2 finishes in recent memory, Boyd rocketed up from many league scrap heaps to likely contribute to more than a fair share of fantasy championships. Doing an insanely solid A.J. Green impression, Boyd was dependable and a consistent playmaker on the Bengals offense. Despite missing the final two weeks of the season, he compiled a 76-1028-7 season, scoring 9 or more standard league points in more than half of his games, and all of this coming from a guy who was a waiver wire add in nearly 100 percent of leagues. In retrospect, Boyd gave us a taste of his capabilities during a solid rookie year. Injuries cost him six games of his second season, but he rebounded in a big during that oft publicized "3rd year" for receivers.
Ok, Boyd had a great 2018, but what about 2019? I think it's safe to say a healthy A.J. Green will make a repeat season nearly impossible. But the former 2nd round pick showed last season that he can handle the heavy lifting in the pass offense, and with a wide open scheme, Boyd is going to retain fantasy value. Knock him down a few tiers from last season, but draft him with solid WR3 value in mind.

Auden Tate dealing with neck, head injuries Diagnosed with cervical strain and concussion By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 18, 6:10 pm

| | Bengals coach Zac Taylor said WR Auden Tate is in concussion protocol. He has a cervical strain. (ESPN - Ben Baby)
FFToday's Take: Tate was taken off the field on a stretcher in Week 11, although he later tweeted he was "good." Assuming A.J. Green remains out this week and Tate can't play, Cincinnati would be presumably start Tyler Boyd and Alex Erickson in Week 12 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. It's not an ideal situation, especially with Ryan Finley not looking the part of an NFL quarterback.

| A.J. Green doesn't think he's going to play Sunday Ankle, contract issue By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 7, 1:28 pm

| | A.J. Green says ankle is swollen. Asked if he is going to play Sunday: “Probably not.” (Paul Dehner Jr. on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: So much for the Green debut in Week 10. It's tough to gauge how much this is related to his ankle or his contract, but it's probably a little of both. With Andy Dalton on the bench, the Bengals will roll out Ryan Finley at quarterback and Tyler Boyd, Auden Tate and Alex Erickson at receiver against the Ravens.

| A.J. Green out for Week 6 Ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Mon Oct 7, 2:00 pm

| | Bengals coach Zac Taylor said he didn't have an update on wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle) other than he will not make his season debut this weekend versus the Ravens. (NFL.com)
FFToday's Take: Tyler Boyd, Auden Tate and Damion Willis will continue to be used as the top receivers while Green is sidelined. The Ravens have given up the 11th most fantasy points to wide receivers.

| John Ross expected to miss multiple games Shoulder injury By: Mike Krueger | Tue Oct 1, 5:14 pm

| | #Bengals WR John Ross is expected to miss multiple games with a shoulder injury suffered last night vs. the #Steelers, sources say. Could be in the range of a month or so. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: With A.J. Green still a few weeks away, the Bengals are down another receiver. Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate should be the most targeted wide receivers for Andy Dalton this week against a porous Cardinals defense.

| A.J. Green out at least through Week 6 Ankle injury By: Mike Krueger | Mon Sep 30, 8:36 am

| | Cincinnati’s wait for the return of Pro Bowl WR A.J. Green will continue on….and potentially on and on.
Green will not play Monday night against the Steelers, and he is not expected to play at least the next two weeks, either, against Arizona and at Baltimore, per sources. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Green's return is targeted for Week 7 against Jacksonville. The Bengals have a bye in Week 9. Tyler Boyd, John Ross and Auden Tate will be the top receivers on the depth chart until Green returns.
