2021 Outlook
Depth Chart
It may surprise some fantasy owners to learn that in 11 games last season for the Texans, Will Fuller averaged more fantasy points than his former teammate DeAndre Hopkins and fantasy darlings DK Metcalf and Justin Jefferson.

He had five games of 100-plus receiving yards and a touchdown in all but four of his performances before having his season cut short by a PED suspension.

Now that he is on a new team and does not have the benefit of playing with Deshaun Watson, Fuller is currently ranked well below how he finished last season and well behind Hopkins, Metcalf, and Jefferson - three players likely to go in the second round of most drafts.

It also doesn't help Fuller's value that he is going to miss the first game of the year while serving the final game of his PED suspension.

However, the upside of monster games from Fuller is still there despite his change in teams, especially with opposing defenses forced to account for DeVante Parker and Jaylen Waddle. For this reason, he likely is more attractive in best ball. However, he still is an excellent option as a WR3, especially in plus matchups against weak opponents on the schedule like Jacksonville, Cincinnati, and his former team.

Injury Tua Tagovailoa out for Week 3, fractured ribs
Jacoby Brissett will start vs. Raiders
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 22, 11:15 am

Miami Dolphins
Brian Flores said Tua Tagovailoa is ruled out this week. He has fractured ribs. Jacoby Brissett will start vs. Raiders. (Cameron Wolfe on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Flores said they will take things week-to-week with Tua which means he could miss more than Week 3. This will be a downgrade to Miami players including Will Fuller who is expected back this week after dealing with a personal issue in Week 2.

Will Fuller out for Week 2 due to personal matter
Timetable for return is unclear
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 17, 11:30 am

Miami Dolphins
Dolphins wide receiver Will Fuller won't play in Sunday's game against the Bills and his absence for personal reasons is indefinite. "He's dealing with a personal issue," Dolphins coach Brian Flores said Friday. "I've had multiple conversations with him the last couple of days. He is definitely dealing with a personal issue. I respect his privacy. I ask that everyone respects his privacy. We support Will. And we'll take it one day at a time." (Palm Beach Post)

FFToday's Take: This sounds like Fuller could miss multiple weeks but we just don't have a clear timeline as of now. He was getting ready to make his debut after coming off suspension in Week 1. For the time being the Dolphins will press forward with DeVante Parker and Jaylen Waddle as their top two wideouts.

Dolphins HC Brian Flores hints at RBBC
"We are going to use them situationally as best fits their skill set"
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Aug 17, 2:00 pm

Miami Dolphins
“We are going to use them situationally as best fits their skill set and what’s best for the team. Myles Gaskin can play first, second, third down, but depending on the situation, we may put another player in there... “Malcolm Brown is a little bigger, what you may consider a power back. Myles is change of pace, good quickness. Salvon Ahmed has good speed, coming out of the backfield. They all played well in the preseason game.” Meanwhile, receivers DeVante Parker, Will Fuller and Albert Wilson remain out - even for Tuesday’s walk through - but Flores said “they’re getting closer.” (Miami Herald)

FFToday's Take: Reading between the lines it seems that Gaskin may be the lead back of this group but there's likely more of a committee approach here than most fantasy owners would like. Gaskin's 4th round ADP in PPR leagues is probably too steep given his outlook.
