2020 Outlook
Depth Chart
Carson Wentz played his first full season as a pro since his rookie year in 2016. He led an injury-depleted Eagles team to the NFC East crown, only to suffer a concussion in the Eagles' Wild Card round loss at home to the Seahawks.

On the positive side, Wentz topped 4k yards for the first time in his career, and he continues to be efficient with the ball as evident to his third consecutive season of only seven interceptions. On the negative side, he posted his third-straight declining season of average fantasy points per game.

The Eagles addressed deficiencies in the passing game with the selection of WR Jalen Reagor from TCU in the first round, and versatile quarterback/running back/wide receiver Jalen Hurts. Reagor should give the Eagles some much-needed depth at wide receiver, especially the deep threat option currently occupied by the oft-injured veteran, DeSean Jackson.

The overall value of all the Eagles position players took somewhat of a hit with the news of pro bowl tackle Brandon Books suffering a season-ending Achilles injury. Brooks' absence in games last season proved to be a huge issue for Wentz and the Eagles.

From a fantasy perspective, Wentz does provide a high ceiling with a solid floor. Although he will not likely throw for 40 touchdowns, he will not burn you with a ton of interceptions, and he can add some value on the ground. He is a solid option for owners who wait on the quarterback position until the end of the draft, especially with an opening week matchup against the Redskins.

Injury DeSean Jackson, Jeffery out for Week 6
Eagles continue to be thin at wide receiver
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 16, 3:07 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles status report for the Ravens game: OUT: S Marcus Epps (rib), T Lane Johnson (ankle), G/T Matt Pryor (illness), LB Duke Riley (rib), WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring), WR Alshon Jeffery (foot), CB Avonte Maddox (ankle). QUESTIONABLE: CB Darius Slay (concussion). (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Another week without Jackson and Jeffery at receiver for the Eagles means Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward will once again command the bulk of targets from Carson Wentz against the Ravens. Fulham received 12 targets last week against the Steelers finishing with a 10-152-1 line.

Injury DeSean Jackson, Jeffery out for Week 5
Hamstring injury for Jackson
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 9, 4:10 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles status report for Steelers game: OUT: WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring), WR Alshon Jeffery (illness, foot), CB Avonte Maddox (ankle). (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Eagles will run out their depleted wide receiving group again this week. Greg Ward, John Hightower and Travis Fulgham were the top wideouts for Carson Wentz in Week 4. In a bad matchup against the Steelers, none of the pass catchers are desirable fantasy options.

Injury Dallas Goedert expected to miss a couple weeks
Small fracture in his ankle
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Sep 29, 10:15 am

Philadelphia Eagles
#Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has a very small fracture in his ankle that won’t require surgery, per source, but he’s expected to be out at least a couple weeks. Another blow to Carson Wentz’s supporting cast. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Goedert has become a low-end TE1 this season thanks to the lack of weapons on the outside for the Eagles. DeSean Jackson is dealing with a hamstring injury leaving John Hightower and Greg Ward to see more opportunities. TE Zach Ertz should be heavily targeted in Week 4 against the 49ers.

Injury Jalen Reagor expected to play
Shoulder injury
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Sep 12, 11:05 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles’ first-round pick Jalen Reagor, who was limited some at practice last week before practicing in full Friday due to a shoulder injury, will play today vs. the Washington Football Team. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Reagor's shoulder injury was expected to keep him sidelined to start the season. Surprise. He will join DeSean Jackson and Zach Ertz as the top targets for Carson Wentz against Washington in Week 1. Fantasy owners with the luxury of not forcing the rookie into their lineup might elect to wait a week just to make sure he isn't limited in Week 1.
