2019 Outlook
Depth Chart
Mack catapulted into the top 10 at the running back position with ten total touchdowns and 1111 combined rushing and receiving yards last year. His 13.4 points per game were better than David Johnson, Phillip Lindsay, and Leonard Fournette, and he scored three more rushing touchdowns than Ezekiel Elliott.

The Colts did not add a young running back in the draft or and have put veteran Spencer Ware on the PUP list, lending credence to the narrative that the team intends on using Mack as their first and second down back and Nyheim Hines as the receiving back once again in 2019.

Another 10-touchdown season for Mack is not out of the question based on the fact that the Colts project to be a top-10 offense and the offensive line for Indy is one of the best in the league. But the fact that Mack is not a heavily used back in the passing game will limit his ability to finish as an elite fantasy running back especially in PPR leagues.

News From The Past 90 Days
Injury Marlon Mack practicing in full
Parris Campbell likely to return in Week 14 as well
By: Doug Orth | Thu Dec 5, 9:30 pm

Indianapolis Colts
WR Parris Campbell full for a second straight day, and RB Marlon Mack was full, as well, a big step for him. (The Athletic - Zak Keefer)

FFToday's Take: Mack is likely to return following a two-week absence, but he'll do so against perhaps the toughest run defense in the league in Tampa Bay. Owners may have no choice to start him given the likelihood he'll push for 20 touches, but he's not going to have a ton of upside this week. Although owners can't start Campbell with any confidence this week, he makes for an intriguing stash in an banged-up offense that has been waiting all year to get him involved.

Injury Fractured hand for Marlon Mack
Likely to miss Week 12
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 18, 7:00 am

Indianapolis Colts
RB Marlon Mack, who was on his way to one of his best games, suffered a fractured hand on Sunday. He'll see see specialists today to get more info on when he can play again. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Colts play Thursday night so expect to see Jonathan Williams and Nyheim Hines carry the load against the Texans. Jordan Wilkins missed Week 11 with an ankle injury. We should get a better idea of how long Mack will be out later today.

Injury Jacoby Brissett ruled out, Hoyer to start
Colts downgrade QB
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Nov 9, 1:00 pm

Indianapolis Colts
#MIAvsIND Injury Updates: QB Jacoby Brissett has been downgraded to OUT. CB Pierre Desir has been downgraded to DOUBTFUL. (Colts on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Brissett was limited in practice all week and ultimately ruled out on Saturday. Brian Hoyer will get the start against the Dolphins in a plus matchup but Marlon Mack should figure heavy in the Colts gameplan.

Injury Jacoby Brissett a gametime decision
Sprained MCL
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 8, 1:45 pm

Indianapolis Colts
Colts HC Frank Reich says QB Jacoby Brissett is a game-time decision to play vs. the Dolphins. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: This is obviously a tasty matchup for the Colts but if Brissett (knee) does play he'll do so at less than 100 percent and without the services of T.Y. Hilton (calf) and Parris Campbell (hand). Brian Hoyer would get the start if Brissett can't go but expect to see a lot of Marlon Mack in this game.

Injury T.Y Hilton expected to play, Mack gametime call
Quad injury for Hitlon
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Oct 6, 7:15 am

Indianapolis Colts
For the SNF game, there is optimism that #Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) plays, while RB Marlon Mack (ankle) is a game-time call, but the team will be cautious. Meanwhile, #Chiefs RB Damien Williams (knee) and WR Sammy Watkins (shoulder) both should play, sources say. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Hilton was limited in practice this week but it appears he will give it a go on Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs. He'll be a risky low-end WR1 in this matchup. If Mack sits, Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines would handle running back duties with Hines more likely to see the bulk of the pass-catching work.

Injury Marlon Mack misses second straight practice
Calf injury
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Sep 19, 3:20 pm

Indianapolis Colts
Not good news on the injury front. No Darius Leonard and no Marlon Mack. Still think there’s a decent chance Mack plays Sunday. (George Bremer on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Mack is dealing with a calf injury. Getting in a Friday practice will go a long way to him being active on Sunday against the Falcons. Jordan Wilkins would assume a larger role if Mack can't go.
