|For most receivers picked in the top-10 a 21-210-7 line in their 2nd season would be a major disappointment. For Ross, it was a gigantic improvement over his abysmal rookie year. Yes, you read the previous sentence correctly, somehow Ross scored a touchdown 33 percent of the time he caught the ball! Suffice to say a major touchdown regression is on the way for the 3rd year receiver from Washington. Likely on a do or die season, the colossal bust has to hope a new coaching staff can coax some more production out of him. I just don't see it happening. He's never projected as a possession guy, and for a player who's known for his deep threat speed, his yards-per-catch average was mere decimal places better than Kyle Rudolph (yuck!) last year. I'd be shocked if this Bengal offense can support more than two fantasy viable pass catchers, and Ross won't be one of them.
| John Ross lands on IR|

|Bengals placed WR John Ross on the Reserve/Injured list and signed WR Stanley Morgan from their practice squad. (Adam Teicher on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Ross suffered a sternoclavicular injury during Monday’s game at Pittsburgh. He is eligible to return in 8 weeks but this move basically kills his value for the fantasy football regular season. Auden Tate should see an increased role while A.J. Green remains out.
| John Ross expected to miss multiple games|

|#Bengals WR John Ross is expected to miss multiple games with a shoulder injury suffered last night vs. the #Steelers, sources say. Could be in the range of a month or so. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: With A.J. Green still a few weeks away, the Bengals are down another receiver. Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate should be the most targeted wide receivers for Andy Dalton this week against a porous Cardinals defense.
| A.J. Green out at least through Week 6|

|Cincinnati’s wait for the return of Pro Bowl WR A.J. Green will continue on….and potentially on and on.
Green will not play Monday night against the Steelers, and he is not expected to play at least the next two weeks, either, against Arizona and at Baltimore, per sources. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Green's return is targeted for Week 7 against Jacksonville. The Bengals have a bye in Week 9. Tyler Boyd, John Ross and Auden Tate will be the top receivers on the depth chart until Green returns.
