Injury Vikings rule out Dalvin Cook for Week 6
Groin injury
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Oct 16, 1:40 pm

Minnesota Vikings
#Vikings injury report vs. Falcons Out: RB Dalvin Cook (groin), CB Kris Boyd (hamstring), G Dru Samia (wrist), WR K.J. Osborn (hamstring) Doubtful: CB Holton Hill (foot) (Andrew Krammer on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: This was expected after Cook left Week 5 early with a groin injury and the Vikings having a Week 7 bye. Alexander Mattison should have a workhorse role against the Panthers with Mike Boone filling a backup role. The Panthers have given up the most fantasy to running backs through five weeks.

Injury Vikings leaning towards resting Dalvin Cook in Week 6
Groin injury

Minnesota Vikings
This is what makes the most logical sense. From what I'm hearing everything is leaning this way for Dalvin Cook in Week 6, meaning Alexander Mattison would get the nod in his place. Would give Cook two weeks to recover ahead of Green Bay in Week 8. (Courtney Cronin on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: It appears Cook's groin injury is minor but it won't be a surprise if the Viking hold him out in Week 6 considering they have a bye in Week 7. Alexander Mattison would get the start and be an immediate RB1 against the Falcons soft defense. Mike Boone would play in a backup role
