|Here's some news eagles fans have been waiting to hear... looks like Zach Ertz has been cleared to play tomorrow .... per league source. (Derrick Gunn on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Ertz has been dealing with rib and kidney issues but looks like he's going to suit up. His presence takes the shine off Dallas Goedert and Joshua Perkins although it's hard to imagine Ertz getting a full workload.

Rib, lacerated kidney

|From NFL Now: #Eagles RB Miles Sanders is good to go after praftice today, while TE Zach Ertz has not yet been cleared. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Miles Sanders will play this week while Ertz is trending towards being inactive on Sunday. We'll likely have a better indication of Ertz's true status on Saturday. If he sits, Dallas Goedert and Joshua Perkins would handle tight end duties and be vialbe DFS options.
| Zach Ertz out for Week 17|
Rib and back injuries
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 27, 3:31 pm
|#Eagles have ruled out Zach Ertz for Sunday. A few important notes:
- Ertz was dealing with the rib injury AND a back injury.
- Pederson has had this exact rib injury himself. He understood the pain well.
- Pederson insisted that he wouldn’t risk Ertz further injuring himself (James Palmer)|
FFToday's Take: Beat writers have been hinting that Ertz wouldn't suit up this week and now we have clarification. With Ertz out, Dallas Goedert is a locked in TE1. Nelson Agholor is also out, meaning Greg Ward and JJ Arcega-Whiteside will start at receiver.
| Zach Ertz misses practice Thursday|

|No practice again for #Eagles TE Zach Ertz but Doug Pederson says he's progressing. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Ertz is in danger of missing this week's game with a rib injury. Eagles' beat reporters are pessimistic that he will play this week but his status will likely come down to a gametime decision. If he sits, Dallas Goedert would be an easy TE1 against the Giants.
| Zach Ertz misses practice Wednesday|
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 27, 5:00 pm
|Eagles tight end Zach Ertz did not participate in practice Wednesday because of a hamstring injury, the team announced in its injury report. Ertz was at practice Wednesday and stretched, but he did not work with the tight ends during individual drills in the portion open to the media. (Penn Live)|
FFToday's Take: We'll have a better idea of Ertz's true status after practice on Thursday. Dallas Goedert would be a no-brainer TE1 if Ertz were to miss Week 13 against the Dolphins. Alshon Jeffery was limited but is expected back this week.
| Alshon Jeffery inactive for Week 12|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 24, 11:30 am
|#Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery is officially inactive. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jordan Howard and Nelson Agholor are also inactive. It will be the "B" team for the Eagles today. Expect tight ends Zack Ertz and Dallas Goedert to be heavily targeted. At wide receiver, Jordan Matthews, Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside will be the top 3 wide receivers.
| Alshon Jeffery misses practice Thursday|
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 14, 1:31 pm
|Alshon Jeffery (ankle) isn’t at practice for the second straight day. #Eagles (Jeff McLane on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: If Jeffery sits this week against the Patriots, the Eagles will likely field Nelson Agholor, Jordan Matthews, JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins at wide receiver. Expect tight ends Zack Ertz and Dallas Goedert to be involved in the gameplan.
| DeSean Jackson to have surgery|
Repair core muscle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 4, 3:30 pm
|#Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is having surgery to repair a core muscle injury tomorrow, sources say. Based on the timing, it appears unlikely he’ll play again this season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: It's going to be a lost season for D-Jax who originally suffered his core injury in Week 2 after posting 8-154-2 in Week 1. The other Eagles receivers haven't really stepped up in Jackson's absence leaving the bulk of receiving work to tight ends Zack Ertz, Dallas Goedert and running back Miles Sanders. Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Mack Hollins fill out the top three wideouts.
| Eagles optimistic on DeSean Jackson|
Hasn't played since Week 2
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 1, 10:17 am
|Doug Pederson on DeSean Jackson for Sunday: “I’m optimistic that he’ll go.” Have to see how he gets through today and the rest of the weekend. (Jeff McLane on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Jackson has been limited in practice this week but it sounds like he might return to action this week. His arrival would help the Eagles offense in general but may ding Dallas Goedert's production if the Eagles use less two tight end sets.
