2019 Outlook
Depth Chart
At 6'2", 225 lbs, Arcega-Whiteside has excellent size to be a downfield and red zone threat for the Eagles. On film he played even bigger than his 6'2" frame, excelling at boxing out defenders on contested catches like a power forward grabbing a rebound.

As a senior at Stanford, he posted career-highs in catches (63), touchdowns (14), and receiving yards (1059). While his combine scores may not be as impressive as fellow draft mates like D.K. Metcalf, his production on the field in college is undeniable.

It remains to be seen how much action Arcega-Whiteside will see as a rookie on a team flush with capable wide receivers and the league's leading pass catcher at the tight end position. Look for Arcega-Whiteside to start slowly; as most rookies do, but he could have some value in standard formats should he become a TD-dependent red zone option in the offense as a rookie.

News From The Past 90 Days
Injury Alshon Jeffery not expected to play
Calf injury, Goedert a gametime decision
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 22, 7:00 am

Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles’ WR Alshon Jeffery, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a calf injury, is unlikely to play vs. the Lions, per source. Eagles TE Dallas Goedert, also nursing a calf injury, looked surprisingly better at Saturday’s practice and is now considered a pregame decision. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: There was a glimmer of hope Friday when Jeffery was listed on the injury report as questionable but he will miss Week 3 leaving the Eagles with Nelson Agholor, JJ Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins at receiver. Agholor is probably the safest fantasy play of the bunch with TE Zach Ertz should in for a monster target day.

Injury DeSean Jackson expected to miss Week 3
Groin injury could sideline him until Week 5
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Sep 17, 5:00 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
While the timetable remains TBD, my understanding is #Eagles WR DeSean Jackson isn't expected to play Sunday against the #Lions because of his groin injury and a quick turnaround to Thursday night game vs. #Packers will make that tough, too. Less speed on the field. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Eagles were decimated with injuries in their Week 2 contest against Atlanta with Jackson, Alshon Jeffery and Dallas Goedert all leaving the game. The Eagles could be looking at a Week 3 receiving corps of Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside.

Injury D-Jax, Jeffery may not return until Week 5
Groin/abdomen and calf injuries, respectively
By: Doug Orth | Mon Aug 19, 12:00 am

Philadelphia Eagles
If the Eagles have both Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson back on the field Week 5 vs. the #Jets, I’d say that's a good result. (NFL Network - Mike Garafolo)

FFToday's Take: The news just seems to continue getting worse for both. Earlier in the week, it sounded like Jackson and Jeffery might only miss a week. Adding injury to insult last weekend, both players left so early in the game that fantasy owners were left with a zero in the box score. Nelson Agholor and Zach Ertz figure to get peppered with targets in the interim, although it should not surprise anyone if JJ Arcega-Whiteside and/or Mack Hollins becomes fantasy-relevant over the next two weeks.
