|The Colts used a second-round pick on wide receiver Parris Campbell from Ohio State University. As a member of the Buckeyes in 2018, Campbell caught 90 passes for 1063 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Although not the tallest wide receiver as just under six feet, Campbell boasts exceptional speed and elusiveness in the open field. He has the ability to run both underneath and deep routes, while also possessing the flexibly to take runs on sweeps and other specialty plays for head coach Frank Reich.
It may take Campbell time to get acclimated to the speed of the NFL and the complexity of the Colts offense. To start the season he projects to be behind veteran Devin Funchess and possibly Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal. For this reason, his value entering the season lies more in dynasty formats than redraft. However, he is a guy to watch and has the skill set to be a future star.

Expected to have surgery

|Source: WR Devin Funchess broke his collarbone. Funchess will get a second opinion on his scans, but as of now my understanding is surgery is likely. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Funchess is the latest to suffer a collarbone injury. If he does have surgery then a lengthy absence (6-8 weeks) is likely. in his absence, Parris Campbell and Chester Rogers will see increased playing time.
| Parris Campbell expected to play Thursday|
Rookie WR missed 3 weeks of training camp
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Aug 28, 6:00 pm
|After missing three weeks of training camp with a lingering hamstring strain, this will be Parris Campbell’s welcome to the NFL moment.
“I missed basically all of camp,” Campbell said Tuesday at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center. “Being a first-year player in the NFL, you know game speed’s a little different. So you definitely need the reps. So I’m excited to get back those reps that I can this Thursday.” (Herald Bulletin)|
FFToday's Take: Missing the majority of training camp typically kills the fantasy value of rookie wide receivers in redraft leagues. Couple that with the loss of Andrew Luck and Campbell is likely to be a forgotten man in 12-team redraft leagues. He's someone to monitor on the waiver wire once the season begins.
