Injury Drew Lock, Fant expected to play for Broncos
Rib injury
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Nov 22, 7:15 am

Denver Broncos
#Broncos QB Drew Lock, dealing with a painful muscle strain by his ribs, is expected to play today, source said. He steadily improved throughout the week. As for TE Noah Fant (ribs), he’s also expected to play, source said. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Both players are dealing with rib injuries but it sounds like they're going to give it a go. Lock has thrown 6 INTs in the last three games making Miami a nice D/ST pick in Week 11.

Injury TE Albert Okwuegbunam is done for the year with torn ACL
Total IR at 13 players for Broncos
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Nov 9, 12:58 pm

Denver Broncos
Per source, Broncos rookie TE Albert Okwuegbunam is done for the year with torn ACL. Yes, every team has injuries. Broncos have strong case for having way more than most. Total IR at 13 players, now nearing $45 million. #9sports (Mike Klis on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Noah Fant hobbled off in Week 9 as well, but later returned to the game. Albert O. was becoming a secondary option for Drew Lock in the passing game but will now miss the remainder of the season. Fant, as long as he stays healthy, will remain a weekly TE1 option.

Injury Courtland Sutton done for the year
Torn ACL
By: Doug Orth | Mon Sep 21, 6:35 pm

Denver Broncos
Per sources: Courtland Sutton tore up his knee. Done for the year. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: Jerry Jeudy was drafted in the first round to complement Sutton for at least this year. Now, he'll be counted upon to serve as the primary target - along with Noah Fant - for Jeff Driskel immediately and Drew Lock when he returns from his shoulder injury. KJ Hamler and Tim Patrick will also be asked to step up and absorb some of Sutton's targets. In most leagues, however, Jeudy will be the only one from the receiver group worth starting on a regular basis.

Injury Worries about Courtland Sutton knee injury
MRI coming today
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Sep 21, 11:27 am

Denver Broncos
Drew Lock’s injury isn’t the only reason for concern: #Broncos talented WR Courtland Sutton is feared to have suffered a significant knee injury, sources tell me and @JamesPalmerTV. He’s scheduled for an MRI today. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Sutton, who was questionable for Week 2 with a shoulder injury, left the game on Sunday with cramps and a knee injury. If he were to miss significant time, Jerry Jeudy and TE Noah Fant would become the two best receiving options for Drew Lock (shoulder) or backup Jeff Driskel.

Noah Fant set to be a movable chess piece
Expects to line up all across the formation
By: Doug Orth | Thu Sep 3, 6:15 pm

Denver Broncos
Players are intrigued and excited about OC Pat Shurmur’s offense. Tight end Noah Fant: “I’d say my favorite thing is I’m moving around a lot and he’s using me in different places - I'll be in the slot, I’ll be in-line, I’ll be outside as a receiver.” (Denver Post - Ryan O'Hallor)

FFToday's Take: It would be an upset if this didn't happen; he's still very much an oversized receiver playing tight end. The good thing is Shurmur may see him in the same way he saw Evan Engram. Considering he doesn't come with near the same kind of injury concerns, Fant could end up being what people hoped Engram was going to be over his first three seasons as a Giant. Fant is a high-end fantasy TE2 with significant upside.
