2021 Outlook
Depth Chart
James Robinson was the unanimous breakout running back candidate of 2020 after finishing as the No.8 running back in fantasy as an undrafted rookie from Illinois State. Not far behind Robinson was second-year back Myles Gaskin, who averaged an impressive 14.8 fantasy points per game, which was better than Josh Jacobs, Austin Ekeler, Chris Carson, Antonio Gibson, and even Ezekiel Elliott.

Unlike Robinson, who now has the share snaps with Travis Etienne, the Dolphins did not add high caliber running back to the backfield, leaving Gaskin to once again be the primary tailback.

At just over 200 pounds, Gaskin does not possess the size of a prototypical every-down back, but his excellent receiving skills and usage in the passing game make him an excellent target as a low-end No.2 running back, especially in PPR.

Injury Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed off the Covid list
Miami gets two RBs back for Week 15
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 17, 11:30 am

Miami Dolphins
Dolphins have activated running backs Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin off the reserve/COVID-19 list. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Finally, some good news on the Covid list front. Gaskin becomes the priority play in a great matchup as the Jets are allowing 4.5 per carry and almost 140 rush yards per game. They've allowed the most fantasy points to running backs this season including 19 TDs to the position.

Injury Jaylen Waddle lands on Covid-19 list
Top 3 RBs also on the list
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Dec 16, 11:48 am

Miami Dolphins
Dolphins have their top WR (Jaylen Waddle), top-3 RBs (Myles Gaskin, Philip Lindsay, Salvon Ahmed) & top safety (Jevon Holland) on COVID-reserve list over last week. Still hope they may get one of RBs back but no guarantee & tough to overcome all that missing talent even vs. NYJ. (Cameron Wolfe on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The Dolphins have a great matchup to take advantage of this week (NYJ) but unfortunately many of their starting skill position players won't suit up. We'll likely have to wait until the weekend before we know who will be playing at running back. For now, DeVante Paker, Albert Wilson and Mack Hollins are the likely top three receivers.
