More work for Marshawn Lynch today?
Can we trust Pete Carroll?
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Jan 12, 10:25 am

Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll alluded to, expect to see more Marshawn Lynch today than we have in the last few weeks. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Carroll hinted earlier in the week that Lynch could see more work as he rounds into game shape but we've been burned before by Carroll's coach speak. Lynch had 12 touches in Week 17 and only 8 touches last week against the Eagles compared to Travis Homer's 15 touches in Week 17 and 12 touches during the Wild Card game. Lynch is probably the better fantasy play given his use around the goaline.

Marshawn Lynch expected to see more work
Limited to 18 snaps in Wild Card game
By: Doug Orth | Mon Jan 6, 6:55 pm

Seattle Seahawks
Pete Carroll said on @710ESPNSeattle just now that he thinks Marshawn Lynch is ready to handle more of a workload now that he has two games under his belt. (ESPN - Brady Henderson)

FFToday's Take: It stands to reason, as Seattle didn't bring back an icon like Lynch to continue using him in a relief/specialty role. With that said, Travis Homer played 44 of the 64 offensive snaps Sunday, so it would seem as though Carroll is leaning toward using a split backfield for however long they remain in the postseason.

Injury Chris Carson (hip) doesn't return after Q2 injury
C.J. Prosise (arm) also out, Travis Homer takes over
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Sun Dec 22, 8:07 pm

Seattle Seahawks
Jessamyn McIntyre (@JessamynMcIntyr) on Twitter: "Just now @JenTalksSports reports Chris Carson is out for the rest of the #Seahawks game" (Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Carson was injured in the second quarter and ruled out after halftime. He converted nine touches into 60 scoreless yards prior to exiting. C.J. Prosise (arm) was also ruled out, leaving the Seahawks with just RB Travis Homer and FB Nick Bellore. We'll see who's available in practice this week.
